Rudy on illegals....

We have a problem and the Feds caused it.

The question is "who can fix it" --- let's not look at what we did in the past locally. "I can fix it"

Rudy..."I will appoint strict Constitutionalist judges (like Roberts, Alito, Thomas) and let them decide on Roe v. Wade."

Refuses to speak about his own opinion.

On gay marriage....

Marriage is between a man and a woman....BUT....there should be 'domestic partnership' protection.

Kerick...

Imus says he's a thug. Rudy says 'I made a mistake' but the rest of my hires were good.

Who cares if he “ducked” it.

HRC didn’t serve.
Obama didn’t serve
Romney didn’t serve
Huckabee didn’t serve
Thompson didn’t serve
Richardson didn’t serve
Tancredo didn’t serve
Biden didn’t serve
Edwards didn’t serve
Kucinich didn’t serve
Gravel didn’t serve

I guess the only qualified/respectable/able candidates are
John McCain, Duncan Hunter, Christopher Dodd, Ron Paul and if he chooses to run... AlGore

Ask Rudy about the Perlmutter when he was USA for the SDNY. The Hilldabeast will at the right time.

Perlmutter was one of Rudy's AUSAs in the narcotics unit who deviated, had a huge personal crisis and disappeared for awhile.

He was found in some dive with a chippie and objective observers accepted the idea that he was suffering from drugs and alcohol abuse of major dimensions.

The matter was kept quiet.

I believe that there was a second incident.

Then Perlmutter was considered rehabilitated and returned to duty by Rudy as a prosecutor of sensitive narcotics cases.

Ultimately he got caught stealing drugs from his and other cases, was prosecuted, disbarred and sent to jail for more than ten years.

Rudy made a huge mistake in not taking very strong action to remove him from any positions of trust. Rudy was more concerned with protecting the kid's reputation and by not acting prudently he gave him a temptation that was overwhelming and put him in prison for a long time.

I guess the real question should be for all of us is: "Has this candidate served his country?"

Has a policeman served his country? Has a corrections officer served his country? These are guys on the frontline everyday protecting Americans HERE from people who terrorize, kill, rape, rob, maime and mug. Service in military is proud and honorable, but, hardly THEE only service one performs for one's country.

After seeing the medals and citations bestowed upon the likes of John Kerry and some other military personel, I wish they hadn't served!

I saw Jim Crammer interview Rudy. The conventional wisdom is that he is strong on Security/Terror, but I walked away with this thought, “Rudy for Secretary of Treasury”.

To be honest, I wish a requirement for President was that you served in the military. Why should the President be Commander in Chief and not know a thing about the military. It does not make sense to me that someone who never served be President.

I agree, military service or lack of it should not be the threshold or the barrier to the White House.

I hope to never have cause to think of Kerry again. He is a joke, a bad one at that.

The simple fact is less than five (5) percent of all living Americans served in the military.

After the interview Bernie was trying to make some controversy out of the disclosure of some of the clients in Rudy’s business. I’m not up to speed on this story but it sure sounded like Bernie was trying to imply something was fishy.

For the record Bernie is a Huckabee supporter. Calls him the next president of the United Sates. Something to keep in mind when the show talks about other candidates.

Rudy's company represents CINTRAS, the Spanish company that is buying up toll roads around the country and that is one of the financial powers behind the push for the NAU 'super-corridor'.

That is enough for me to not vote for Rudy in the nominating process.

I don’t know, but I would think that the framers expected many would serve in State militias ergo service for a lot would be included.

However, except for the obvious exclusion of women & blacks, they seemed to be more interested in letting more participate rather than less (not requirement for owning property, having a peerage, etc.)
