If Chavez tried it, would the Venezuelan military voluntarily assist Chavez in a coup d'etat, overthrow him, or splinter?I believe this is precisely the question that held up the announcement of the election results. When Chavez concluded he didn't have the military behind him, he reluctantly accepted the NO vote, trying to put the best face on it.

I’m sure now his secret police are getting the names of everyone who voted ‘No.’

And the American left love this guy (and they want Hillary to win...it really isn’t hard to do the math). He is the new Castro for all the Hollywood putty-heads and academic mental midgets.
This guy needs a bullet now.

After the uprising of the 17th June
The Secretary of the Writers Union
Had leaflets distributed in the Stalinallee
Stating that the people
Had forfeited the confidence of the government
And could win it back only
By redoubled efforts. Would it not be easier
In that case for the government
To dissolve the people
And elect another?

He's nothing more than a classless lowlife commie thug. What an ego this worthless bassturd has. His ego is definitely been kicked hard...in his little world of power. He's been taken down a number of notches.
If he had any class whatsoever, he'd conduct himself in the proper manner of a loss. Instead he puffs out his ugly feathers and tries to strut around with his pride and his silly ego and convince people he may be down but not out.
He needs to take lessons from one that's had every ugly hateful thing one can think of said about him, Our President. Now that's an humble man with more class in one little finger than that thug could even imagine.

It will be fun to see this creep strung upside down from rafters like Il Duce was. It is inevitable. He is writing his final chapter as we speak.

Just damn. This guy is becoming more dangerous every week.
I wonder what Carter has to say about this..

I’m shocked he didn’t steal this election. What could have stopped him?

One story posted earlier today suggested that the military stopped him. No way to tell if it’s true, but it makes sense to me. Otherwise, he’d surely have stolen it with 96% of the vote, the way Fidel always did. And sent the designated 4% to prison for voting the wrong way.

Actually, he may require the services of a skilled Neuro-Proctologist. He might be ok after the cranial-rhoidectomy. Tricky surgery. He might not make it if he can’t learn to breathe through his nose.

the vote was probably more like 80/20 against. he just declared a small margin of victory so that he can regroup and take out a few opposition leaders and then have another vote.
