New York Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton: "Sliming fish in a fish cannery in Valdez, Alaska." So many possibilities.
I'll just leave it alone.

The difference and it is not so subtle, is that Thompson was the only one to be thankful. So those slimers, textile workers and ice cream scoopers can take heed that they are working jobs that are bad according to the dems. That would make me want to vote for them. For the common person my A@#

Hey wait a minute! I use to sell shoes, parttime, back in High School. Al Bundy gave shoe salesmen a bad name. And I kind of liked Huckabee's answer. At the shoe store, part of my job was cleaning the windows and door - which was glass. I felt the same way - you just get it clean and some clown would push the door open not by the handle but on the glass.
I liked Fred's answer. What are some Freepers worst jobs?
I worked in construction a couple times and while I did not particuarly like it, I would have to say the worst job I ever had was as a pump jockey at a gas station in Chula Vista, Ca. It wasn't hard but the customers treated you like crap.

From the Washington Post:
Hillary Clinton Snapshot
By The Associated Press
Saturday, January 20, 2007
-- New York Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton is among a dozen or more Democrats who have set their sights on the White House:
___ INTERESTING NOTE: After graduating from Wellesley College in 1969, Clinton spent the summer gutting salmon at a fishery in Valdez, Alaska. "Of all the jobs I've had, sliming fish was pretty good preparation for life in Washington," she wrote in her autobiography, "Living History."
From Wikipedia:
Rodham returned to Wellesley, and wrote her senior thesis about the tactics of radical community organizer Saul Alinsky under Professor Schechter (which, years later while she was first lady, was suppressed at the request of the White House and became the subject of speculation as to its contents).[23] In 1969, Rodham graduated with departmental honors in political science. Stemming from the demands of some students,[24] she became the first student in Wellesley College history to deliver their commencement address.[22] According to reports by the Associated Press, her speech received a standing ovation lasting seven minutes.[25][26] She was featured in an article published in Life magazine, due to the response to a part of her speech that criticized Senator Edward Brooke, who had spoken before her at the commencement;[8] she also appeared on Irv Kupcinet's nationally-syndicated television talk show as well as in Illinois and New England newspapers.[27] That summer, she worked her way across Alaska, washing dishes in Mount McKinley National Park and sliming salmon in a fish processing cannery in Valdez (which fired her and shut down overnight when she complained about unhealthy conditions).[28][29]

Yup. It was FRED. Fred is the only candidate who has, in his lifetime, really been “one of us.”
