Exactly. The US is full of ‘the un-churched’ who are still Christians. Whether someone does or doesn’t attend services on a regular basis should never be a measurement for how ‘Christian’ they are.

Agreed. He doesn’t make his religion (or lack thereof) an issue, nor should it be. Appointing strict constructionist judges and pushing for federalism, aka smaller government, will do more for religious freedom and respect for life than pushing hot button issues that have no real chance of ever passing. We aren’t electing a chief priest.
A long speech with buts and ifs, like Rudy getting through the “is every word in the Bible true” question in the last debate. I’ve never seen Rudy more unsure of himself.
Fred however with the “I’m OK with the Lord, and the Lord is OK with me”, sounds exactly like my Dad throughout his life, and I can say with 100% certainty, that on the day he went to be with the Lord with his family at his bedside, he was more than OK with the Lord.
