Anybody know if Bernard McGurk (sp?) is back on Imus’s staff?
He’s there, but he’s being very quiet.
I never thought I’d miss Curtis & Kuby / co-host du jour.
But I do.
Haven’t been up long so I haven’t heard him yet, but he’s supposed to be. From what I’ve heard they’re ALL back including Lou.
Continuing, I think I actually like the people around him more than I actually liked Imus.
And I hope he does. I don’t agree with everything he says (I don’t agree with everything ANYONE says) but the behavior of MSNBC & WFAN was Bovine Scatology.
Calling someone a "war criminal" is not even funny, and is the main reason I will never listen to Imus.
If he said that, then he already is caving to the smarmy anti-American race hustlers --- just for ratings and to 'appear' even handed.
If he was serious about political humor, he would stop feeding the elite media machine's obsession with accusing the Bush Administration of destroying the world.
There is nothing remotely funny about attacking those people (Cheney supporters) who have kept the world as free and safe as its been the past 100 or so years.
Yep.
I heard the “war criminal” bit, too.
CLICK!
Yep, that’s Imus.
I like how he’s playing more blues and country between shows.
Don’t go over to the Newsbusters thread... the anti-Imus vitriol is deafening over there.
His comments served to functions. The Cheney remark played to the crowd. The second also played to the crowd but it also expressed the opinion he has expressed for years. He has never hidden his feelings for Bill Clinton’s wife.
I glad to hear Imus back on the radio,(internet).
True. But he’s going to be a royal pain in the butt for Ms. Hillary and that’s all good in my book.
That’s what I like to hear. It was his Liberal buddies who stabbed him in the back so, he will be brutal to them just in time for the elections which is fine by me.
“...he will be brutal to them just in time for the elections which is fine by me.”
Let’s hope so. There is still that pesky Media Matters & Co. that may give him a little grief.
Don’t really care about the show, but was I disappointed when his Salsa was pulled of the shelves at Hannaford Brothers.
Listened to Imus for about 5 seconds this morning before I had to change the channel. He sounded like a cross between the Tom Daschle Show and Larry King to me. Bleech!

WABC lost me as a morning listener M-F.
Hannity's disgust this p.m. at Curtis being bumped was obvious. He said this is the second time it has happened to Curtis and as his friend he was disappointed to see it occur a second time.
