CNN Responds To Lawsuit
Yesterday, FishbowlDC first reported the complaints lodged by Citizens United against CNN concerning the cable network's 'Broken Government' program.
We've obtained this statement from CNN's Campbell Brown:
I'm glad that this documentary is generating discussion among those that it portrayed - "the passionate partisans on the left and right" We presented a balanced and entertaining look at how various groups of all political persuasions try to influence the process. I am both thrilled with the documentary and the fact that more than million people tuned in.
UPDATE: Citizens United's David Bossie sent FishbowlDC his response to the above statement by Campbell Brown:
I am sorry to see Campbell Brown try to defend her irresponsible and indefensible reporting. To call somebody part of a "fringe militia" when that person is neither fringe nor militia, nor anything approaching such a characterization, is defamatory and unprofessional. We will have more to say on this in the coming week.

Debate Gate? I don’t think the lawsuit has anything to do with the staged debate.
SO which is it? Did Bossie file a lawsuit or just a ‘complaint’? Doesn’t sound like there is any actual lawsuit involved but I’ll be happy to be wrong about that part.
That’s a fine collection.
CNN is about driving their view which centers around Republicans being unfit to govern. After their duites to aide the far left, they check the ratings and business side.
I didn’t think so either.
