There have been so many debates and interviews and columns and profiles and polls, its hard to believe the election for president is still about 11 months away. Recently, celebrity endorsements have been making news, with Oprah Winfrey saying she would campaign for Barack Obama and Barbra Streisand making the not-so-stunning announcement that she was supporting Hillary Clinton.
There are reasons, of course, why candidates welcome such help. First, theres the bonanza of free publicity. With so many names and faces vying for attention, what could be better than the burst of news such endorsements bring? Pat Sajak is one of the vanishingly small minority of "conservative celebrities" and has been since he achieved adulthood. He chooses not to make a public show of his politics as the lefties do.

When minstrels, jugglers and clowns are as some kind of political sages, it seems we are all in trouble. Most can only read the lines they’re given and, even at that, probably need help with the big words.
Yeah, but you see no one wants to hear that. We want to be titillated and tantalized. We’re Americans - we need to be entertained! Enough with this substance nonsense.
