No, that NOT a fact, and you should be ashamed of yourself for presenting it as such.

The actual FACT is that Fred has been raising awareness of things that the other candidates have talked very little about.

Thompson has been the only one to make entitlement reform a KEY issue of his campaign. The other candidates don't have the stones to do this.

FDT is the only leading candidate to present a detailed immigration plan which takes federal funds away from sanctuary cities.

Fred's tax plan would open the door to the flat tax, which is doable, unlike the so-called "fair" tax, which will not get through even a Republican Congress, much less the Democrat-controlled houses that are ruled by Pelosi and Reid.

Thompson wants a million-man military to face the growing threats from the Islamofacists and the Chinese communists. He's the only top-tier candidate to present such a plan.

Look, if you have issues that you honestly disagree with FDT on, just present them. Don't lie through your teeth with vague, baseless accusations.

Although you’ve been banned/suspended, I hope you are reading the responses to your despicable post, which may be the worst slur against a conservative Republican and his family that I have yet seen here. What on earth were you thinking?

It’s been a long time comin’
It’s goin’ to be a Long Time Gone.
And it appears to be a long,
Appears to be a long,
Appears to be a long
Time, yes, a long, long, long, long time before she’s gone.

Look, look at any Fred thread.
Read, you must read what some people say.
You know there’s something that’s goin’ on around here,
The surely, surely, surely won’t stand the light of day.
And it appears to be a long,
Appears to be a long,
Appears to be a long
Time, yes, a long, long, long, long time before she’s gone.

Speak out, you got to speak out against the hateful,
You got to speak your mind,
If you dare.
But don’t no don’t now try to reason with them
If you do you had better bide your time.
`Cause it appears to be a long,
Appears to be a long,
Appears to be a long,
Time, such a long long long long time before she’s gone.

It’s been a long time comin’
It’s goin’ to be a long time gone.
But you know,
The darkest hour is always
Always just before they’re gone.
And it appears to be a long, appears to be a long,
Appears to be a long
Time before she’s gone.

You’re disgusting, and I’m glad your post was deleted. Sicko.

Keeping in mind that I'm responding to your post # 57, and there are over 200 posts now, I'd like to pointout that post # 42 was not deleted.

On Charles Krauthammer (neocon):

"Ultimately, a civilized society must disarm its citizenry if it is to have a modicum of domestic tranquility of the kind enjoyed by sister democracies such as Canada and Britain. Given the frontier history and individualist ideology of the United States, however, this will not come easily. It certainly cannot be done radically. It will probably take one, maybe two generations. It might be 50 years before the United States gets to where Britain is today. Passing a law like the assault weapons ban is a symbolic - purely symbolic - move in that direction. Its only real justification is not to reduce crime but to desensitize the public to the regulation of weapons in preparation for their ultimate confiscation." - Charles Krauthammer, "Disarm the Citizenry," The Washington Post, Friday, April 5, 1996, page A19

I had no idea. Thanks.

It’s possible it was deleted, and then reinserted.

Please explain how a video which only contains other candidates’ OWN WORDS can be an attack ad.

mission9 also wrote: “To which I replied: ‘What else would you expect when your top campaign political adviser sleeps with James Carville?’”

Which is a statement much worse than anything I’ve heard in a Fred Thompson ad. You’ve got a lot of class. /sarc

"Never underestimate the power of grassroots. "

I'm doing what I can. Our 20 year old daughter has a Thompson bumper sticker on her car as does our mini van, which is mainly driven by our 16 year old daughter. They both cover alot of territory! Once hubby and I get the yard cleared of leaves and pecan tree limbs, I'll order a yard sign.

I'm considering volunteering some time with the county Republican Party. I've never been motivated to do so before, but I think it's critical, at this point, that Fred Thompson be our next President.

Maybe I’ll just start pinging Rep. Hunter and his son to each of Paperdoll’s bs comments. Then when they have a chance they can personally slap her down.

"But the country could use a grandfatherly man, a serious man, in the WH"

I too supported the Bushes. I appreciate that GWB is an honest and sincere man..tho sometimes I do think he is sincerely wrong. I believe he had the energy level we needed after Clinton.

IMHO, Thompson is almost like a healthier version of Cheney, in that they both seem to have strong values. They believe what they believe and make no bones about it.

I'm sick to death of politiking politicians, politikin' at me!

Her being suspended can only help the Hunter campaign.

You must have watched a different debate than I did. Because when he followed another candidate, he parroted exactly what he said. I was reminded of The Office and 'That's what she said'.

And I remember so well Fred's none answer about what departments he would cut. A very specific question. He bleated on about saving Social Security, blah blah entitlements, but he never answered which three departments he would cut. I will be more than happy to provide the transcript.

Don’t get too worked up Josh. Bill’s a Paul supporter, so go from there...

Hey Bill, guess thing are getting a bit depressing in the Paul/Kucinich 2008 camp, what with Osama giving up on Iraq and such.

Hell even Mutrha has loosened up...

You’re so full of Romney that it’s coming out your ears. It smells suspiciously like something I scooped out of my cat’s litter box.

Bears repeating.

I’m not sure what the point of your post is, but Post #21, the offensive post about which I was commenting in #57, was deleted before I could respond to it, so I responded to 42 instead.

"Her being suspended can only help the Hunter campaign."

I agree. Duncan Hunter deserves better than what some of his supporters have done in his name. I look forward to getting to know Mr. Hunter better over the next decade or so.

Ohhhhh— are you saying that it should have been deleted as well? If so, I can understand that, but at least people can see after the fact why she was canned— eliminating whining about Hunter fans being picked on. Sorry if I misunderstood.
