CNBC's Erin Burnett calls Bush a "monkey" - twice. Hilarity ensues
I thought this term was RACIST!! Brace yourselves for the howls of protest from certain segments of the community.
Or maybe not.
What an airhead, rude **&&$E*&. And that’s polite. I agree with those who have said....if it were a negative label thrown out at obama..all hell would break loose.
Did anyone EVER call clinton a monkey? EVER? :)
Didnt Howard Cosell lose his job for saying the same thing?
Also call CNBC because they said that’s who she works for.
Scarborough refers to her daily as Erin Burnett, International Superstar.
Then again, he also appears to think Mika has an IQ over 70....
“And to think, Howard Cosell using that term in an endearing manner about a black NFL players running play, ended his career.”
I understand the point you are making, but that comment didn’t end Cosell’s career.

What’s this CNBC thing?
Doh. Of course it’s CNBC - not MSNBC.
HOT FOR MARIA
New York Post (NY)
October 3, 2007
MARIA Bartiromo has an artistic follower. Geoffrey Raymond was standing outside Goldman Sachs yesterday exhibiting his new painting depicting CNBC’s “Money Honey” as the Virgin Mary, with the quotation above her head: “If I see that bitch Erin Burnett on the ‘Today’ show one more time, I’m gonna freak out!” Raymond told us, “I think the picture is actually very pro-Bartiromo. Were I she and I saw Burnett popping up on ‘Today,’ I’d freak out, too. It seems like a very honest emotion. Maria’s much hotter than Burnett, in one man’s opinion. I’m all-Bartiromo, all the time.”

I just called and left a complaint
Rush has been using clips of her recently talking honestly about the good economy. She now is teased on CNBC as being Rush’s crush.
Guess she needed to prove her credentials
Cool - let me send you my resume!
A regular at DU?
email her boss instead
I get up like a rocket in a hurricane Then it's off to work like a runaway train Drivin' them nails, draggin' my tail It don't take much to follow my trail, follow my trail Back and forth in a game of pickle I ain't nothing but the monkey in the middleWalking that sideshow tight rope making ends meet That organ grinder be in a bind without me In that circus they work us like a bunch of borrowed mules But everytime that music plays I know what to do
Every Friday night at the honky tonk Me and my baby make that dive jump When our buckles bump, I tell you what That girl is packing some powerful stuff, powerful stuff And when we get home she plays me like a fiddle Makin' sweet music with the monkey in the middle
Walking that sideshow tightrope, makin' ends meet That organ grinder be in a bind without me In that circus they work us like a bunch of borrowed mules But everytime that music plays sugar I know what to do
And then. I get up like a rocket in a hurricane Then it's off to work like a runaway train Drivin' them nails, draggin' my tail It don't take much to follow my trail, follow my trail Back and forth in a game of pickle I ain't nothing but the monkey in the middle
Completely unprofessional.
She is Limbaugh’s girlfriend? Well, there’s no accounting for taste. Oh, I can understand the looks, but there’s something of the college freshman about her. She kind of reminds me of my 18-year-old niece, in her looks and in her mannerisms. The difference between my niece and her is that my niece is not an idiot.
This stuff serves as a reminder as to why I gave up TV news.
Who would be Burnett’s boss? I.ve tried to call several times and just get a busy signal.
