CNBC's Erin Burnett calls Bush a "monkey" - twice. Hilarity ensues
Here is my email to squawbox...
Erin...
So you are sooo sorry IF you offended the president....? You just called the President of the United States a MONKEY!!! Duh!! That my dear is NOT an apology.
You offended your countrymen you dip!!! Grow up !!! You should be fired immediately!!! You are too stupid to realize in your little liberal mind that if you had said that about Obama you would be hung by your heels by the left media darlings. And Jackson and Sharpton would be holding your pretty brainless head in their laps !!!!!!!!!!!!!
I want to know where is the real outrage? This would be running on every TV news tickler day in and day out if you had said that about Hillary. Oh that’s right only the left can be offended, I forgot. Are you too young to remember what happened to Howard Cosell?
You may or may not agree with President Bush (not Mr. Bush either, President Bush), but you are on national and world news outlets and should show more respect for your country. IT’S A LITTLE THING CALLED PATRIOTISM!!
A gal from Fly Over Country....
Are you Maria Bartiromo? You seem awfully emotional about this. I watched it and everyone needs to friggin’ lighten up.
uh - she was told to tell the truth
She sounded like she could have been drunk or on the influence of a medication. The stupid giggles after her stupid comments could be an indicator.
Post of the day. I couldn't have said it better!
I heard Mr. Douglas was doin’ her behind Lee-sah’s back, and Mr. Drucker couldn’t keep enough viagra stocked for the ole’ horndog...
OMG, I can’t believe she’d do that? I liked her on CNBC. Suicide move career wise...
Please, someone let me know how I can email a complaint.
I don’t watch CNBC for politics, but for econ news.
That’s what I was trying to say; she appeared to be referring to Bush. Like I said in my complaint emails, I wonder what kind of animal she thinks Hillary is. Whatever it may be, she’d better keep her mouth shut, because Hillary, if she wins, will not be as forgiving as Bush.
VP titles tossed around at banks? Yup, you bet, I’m one of them!
There might just be, tons of VPs, but those VPs all make serious bucks. Well, if you think say 150k plus, is serious bucks. That of course depends on where you live I would guess.
Totally unacceptable. Fire her.
Unprofessional idiot. She has physical OK looks, but just looking at her and hearing that childish garbage she spews is a huge turnoff. How could I lust after someone so arrogant in her stupidity?
Joe Kernan is a former DemocRAT Indiana Governor
Oh wait, wrong Joe Kernan
That’s not a real apology - it’s the usual “so sorry IF anyone was offended” [but I cannot imagine that anyone COULD be offended except for a few right-wingers and who really cares about them]
She can’t even keep her gaze into the camera while she issues this half-assed attempt at an “apology” — look at how her eyes blink uncontrollably because she is not the “very skilled liar” that Bill Clinton is — just another liberal fraud.
LH, you don’t really think that vicious unprofessional behavior on national TV is a firing offense in the MSM, do you? :^)
If she’d had a “macaca” or “Imus” moment against a liberal, sure, but dissing a Republican president is simply normal behavior in MSM circles. Most of the time they try to keep their sharpest remarks for off-camera moonbattery, but she is merely a vapid product of her cultural milieu. They would never fire her unless she called Shrillery something that rhymes with “witch”.......
Erin is just trying to win credibility with the big boys of NBC by bashing Bush. Gotta earn your bones to move up the food chain or else get kicked out.
Erin’s actions are very unprofessional and just shows the bias of the media. How can anyone believe them about President Bush and then in the future about a GOP or Democratic politician, issue for the obvious bias?
In fact, there are so many continuing wide-eyed questions on this that it's pretty obvious they're being posted in the hopes that he IS dating her.....therefore he's bash-able.
Take your trolling elsewhere, you chimps......er, chumps.
Leni
That’s good money, but I don’t consider it “serious”. And, I don’t live in a high cost of living area.
