ALERT-Chad: the rebels in "state of belligerency" with France
LIBREVILLE - Chadian rebels of the Union of Forces for Democracy and Development (UFDD) reported Friday to be "state of belligerency" with the French army, or any other foreign contingent, while a European force is expected to deploy in eastern Chad.
They can run their mouth if they want. But they are running up against the French Foreign Legion. Those are some tough hombres.

Oh yea! Says who? Yo Mamma! I double dog dare ya!
Hmmm... so France has occupied Chad for how long now?
And you attribute that to which adjective: “French?” or “Foreign?” ;-)
Shouldn’t the French be seeking permission from the United Nations instead of acting unilaterally?
it´s allready approved by U.N. and it´s not only france. it´s an EU mission including troops from several EU countries.
Well, most of the Sergeants are German and the recruits are pretty well stateless except for their ties to the Legion.
Send in LionHeart!!!
Now, it seems, the rebels have the backing of the Sudanese government. So - is it Oil, Religion or just plain old Chinese greed?
