Duncan Hunter — excellent principles and politics, weak candidate for president.

Every candidate (except Huckabee, Romney, Rudy) is doing a good job.

I have only watched the last hour — first hour watched The Grinch with my 3 year old, BUT, Thompson has done well in the later part — did he do the same in the earlier part???

> I think this is CNNs purpose. Use the CNN/YOUTUBE format to put the debate on the level of Saturday morning cartoons.
It’s been lively, though. I’d rather see Americans asking the questions than the smarmy talking heads in the Drive Bys.

“What is happening!? CNN Radio has launched into a long series of commercials, right after the Duncan Hunter ad. Sucks.”
They’re in a break right now.

Its funny how liberals like to portray consrvatives always having guns in their hands yet its liberals who always talk about how Ann Coulter should be shot.

A video question with a built in slam against the president. Where’s the Diamonds or Pearls question?

Didn’t watch the Dem/Youtube debate, but IIRC, they dealt with a LOT more nutty questions. One was from a talking snowman.
Personally, I’ve liked the question selection, considering that this is CNN.

The ‘Rats get questions from Snowmen and Dancing Lesbians while the Repubs get “gotcha” questions and gun-wielding Cheney videos.
It’s ridiculous.

FRed Thompson’s sense of humor as he maintains a level approach to serious issues is going to be enjoyable and helpful during his two terms as President of the United States. It is a mark of true leadership that he shares with President Reagan.
