How is that? They are supporting the ONLY candidate in the race that is strong on social issues.
It's the fault of the Republican party for not assuring there is a conservative that can unify all factions of the party and is strong on social issues.
We can also blame Fred Thompson from running an terrible campaign and alienating social conservatives.
Not all “social conservatives” are conservatives. They like their big gubmint cheese as much as any liberal; so long as it’s slathered on right to left instead of left to right.
