Big Oil Paying Off Climate Scientists: An Insider's Story
ecoenquirer.com ^ | Nov. 2007 | Ecoenquirer

(Katy, TX - Nov. 11) Many environmentalists have long suspected that "Big Oil" pays a small cadre of climate scientists to perform and publish bogus research, as well as spread disinformation regarding the state of the science of global warming and climate change.

But according to one administrative assistant who was recently let go from her employer, what is already known by watchdog groups like Greenpeace and ExxonSecrets.org might be just the tip of the iceberg.

"Sylvia" (not her real name) told our reporter that her employer, EM Distribution Services, paid her $1,500 a week, in cash, for encrypting and sending e-mails, receiving and decrypting e-mails, and shredding them after being processed by her boss.

There is only one conspiracy, and its Satan and his demons, “going about as a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour.”

"$1,500 a week, in cash"

That money could be much better spent.

Well, that certainly sounds plausible. Get someone off the street to read the boss' top secret e-mail for him. Yeah, right.

Recently let go, huh? Gotcha.

“Sylvia” (not her real name) told our reporter that her employer, EM Distribution Services, paid her $1,500 a week, in cash, for encrypting and sending e-mails, receiving and decrypting e-mails, and shredding them after being processed by her boss.”

How convenient. Paid in cash, so there is no record of her even being employed. Why would they need her to encrypt and decrypt emails? I have worked with secure email. That doesn’t make sense.

This is blatant BS.

Maybe, but it could be just a lunatic fringe site. Very bizzar stories indeed. The pictures of the Jets over the eyewall of a Hurricane are just plain hilarious.

“Court Orders Fisherman to Apologize to Eagle”

LOL! OK, they got me. The thing about enviro-nuts is the satire of them seems so plausible.
