More “fake but accurate” reporting from the Bush-haters at CBS.
No surprises there.

“suicide rate of these young vets was 22.9 to 31.9 per 100,000 people.”
Uhmmm.... Lessee... That’s .0229% to .0319%.

Well if the media didn’t hesitate to make up a story about a disproportionate number of Vets being homeless, it only makes sense that they would make up other stories that cast the military in a bad light.

Anything to discredit Bush or make America look bad is NEWS! If CBS manufactures it that’s OK.

The truth doesn’t matter to the media. Their left wing agenda is all that matters.

This gives them a way to explain the lack of homeless vets, see it all works out...

I only know of one soldier who has committed suicide, and I only know of him because he was my brothers friend.
Decided to hang himself rather than go back on a 4th tour of Iraq.

Now ..this is interesting...I would think the advertisers that bought time from CBS on these shows...might have a fraud claim against CBS......any legal eagles out there with thoughts?!!

I wonder why he killed himself? If he was afraid of dying in Iraq then what’s the point in doing as he did, after all dead is dead.
I suppose clear thinking isn’t a strong suit of someone inclined to taking their own lives.
To: billorites
It wouldn’t surpise me much to find higher suicide rates among vets who had served in the WOT than among troops currently on active duty, if they came back from the action and had to live with what SeeBS et al have done to the truth, this country, and the betrayal of the cause they fought for.
