Which was one of the reason some of the Brigade 2506 Cuban Exiles at the Bay of Pigs were carrying Ruger .44 Magnum *Deerstalker* carbines, though their tubular magazine held but four shots.
All too true - on ANY gun related issues.
My copy of the Constitution doesn’t have a clause in ANY of the Articles that would allow the FedGov to even HAVE an agency like the BATFE.
No doubt that the ATF will seize all their records and attempt to track down each and every one of them and demand they be turned over without compensation or face criminal prosecution.
Actually, that was the initial fear.
Google cache of Akins Website ( now defunct):
Best regards,
The BATFE will find that their “re-decision” in this matter is going to come back to haunt them in the worst way. It seems that no matter what BS they do now, someone like Len Savage or Ryan Horsley is going to take that letter, turn it into a sharp stick and insert it with extreme prejudice in one of ATF’s orifices in some court room out there causing the rogue agency to squirm and spin in circles. What absolutely amazes me is that the pin heads at FTB (Firearms Technology Branch) haven’t figured out that the days of this kind of crap are over. Too many people know how to jam these letters in some very inconvenient places.
Oh, and as a technical point... The BATFE does NOT have any documented procedures or guidelines on determination or classification of firearms. Basically that means that the Akins letter and other letters have no factual basis of determination and are basically BS pulled out of the ass of some pencil pushing idiot who has an agenda. This also means that every single arrest and conviction of someone in possession of a contraband firearm MUST be reviewed if not plain thrown out of court. Most of this crap is the result of a mental case that was with FTB named Sterling Nixon. To say that man had issues is an understatement. How in the world he ever got into the position he was in is beyond me.
Makes one wonder just where Sterling Nixon really is these days.
Oh yeah, check out JPFO’s website and get the DVD “BATF fails the test” if you want to see one of their “technical experts” at work.
Mike
That sounds like a variation of "let George do it". Akins Group has elected not to follow that path so why should anyone else?
Remember? "If not now, when?" "If not us, who?"
I am very familar with the work of JPFO.
Best regards,
