A British woman who had an abortion 10 years ago and was later sterilized did so because she believes pregnancy is bad for the environment, the London Daily Mail reported Sunday. Toni Vernelli, 35, hopes her actions would ensure her carbon footprint would be kept to a minimum, the Mail reported. The environmental advocate also sees having children as an egotistical act. "Having children is selfish. It's all about maintaining your genetic line at the expense of the planet," Vernelli told the Mail, adding she believes bringing new life into the world only adds to the problem. Another woman, 31-year-old Sara Irving, also underwent sterilization because she felt "a baby would pollute the planet." Irving became an environmentalist as a teenager when she realized saving the environment was her top and foremost priority in life, the Mail reported. After going through several boyfriends she finally found her now husband Mark Hudson who shares in her no kids policy.

“I’d like to give her a carbon footprint right in the face.” Do you want to retract that statement?
Abortion is murder, plain and simple. Fortunately, we have One who will forgive and heal when called on.
Why?
“Having children is selfish. It’s all about maintaining your genetic line at the expense of the planet,”
One thing to say here : KICK THE CHAIR !
“Why?”
Life, including the growing baby in the womb, is a gift from God.
“Why?”
It continues to amaze me on how far these nut-balls will reach in trying to justify their murders.
Um...I may be wrong, but I believe she was saying that she wanted to kick the woman who had the abortion to “save the planet” in the face. Because what she did was evil, murderous, and she deserves it. Why do you want her to retract that statement?
Point 1. I didn’t say I wanted to kill her.
Point 2. Go read in the Old Testament regarding what God thought about people that killed their children. Do you remember Jesus whipping people and driving them from the temple? There’s such a thing as a righteous anger. And I’m furious at this imbecile for killing a precious baby for such a frivolous reason.
Don’t allow yourself to be morally confused by an effeminate form of Christianity that only talks of soft “love” and can’t get furious over such an abominable crime. That's not what you find in the NT.
You got me right! No retraction.
(And, btw I’m a he.)
Jesus never said to “kick someone in the face.” You have some pretty twisted theology.
I didn’t say I was going to do it - I said I’d like to. And I would!!! Vengeance belongs to God - and He’s going to do more to them than just kick them in the face.
“But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.”
They are going to be punished so severely that they will wish they were never born.
Can you tell me that if you saw a remorseless woman rip apart her child in your presence that you you could walk up to her, stepping over the child’s bloody parts, and give her a hug and tell her “it’s gonna be alright cause Jesus loves you!” ???
Could you???
there’s just one problem. she has good genes: she’s healthy and probably has a reasonably high IQ. But bad behaviors can beat out good genes.
you’re acting like a human being. Shame on you. /s
Well, at least she’s not reproducing, and that’s a good thing.
AAHH!!! I *never* get it right!!!!
My apologies.
I would love to see the reactions of the “carbon footprint” people when they hear about the Duggar Family and other large families!
Isaiah 45:18
18 For thus says the LORD,
Who created the heavens,
Who is God,
Who formed the earth and made it,
Who has established it,
Who did not create it in vain,
Who formed it to be inhabited
I am the LORD, and there is no other.
