SNIP . . .On Nov. 6, Rep. Dennis Kucinich introduced articles of impeachment against Vice President Dick Cheney on the floor of the House of Representatives. For one shining moment the will of the majority of Americans and the promise of this nation's founders were truly represented.
The detailed charges were solemnly read from the House podium and televised on C-Span. House Democratic Leader Steny Hoyer made a motion to table the bill. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi lobbied hard for votes to table.
In a stunning turnaround, House Republicans changed strategy and voted decisively to prevent tabling the impeachment resolution.

I love this resume for the writer:
“Linda Boyd is director of Washington For Impeachment, www.washingtonforimpeachment.org. Citizens to Impeach Bush and Cheney, in Olympia: www.citizensimpeach.org”
What a nutcase!

The moonbats are fit to be tied. The Democrats have failed to stop Bush.

The reason that this did not go forward is because IT DOES NOT represent the will of the American people. When are these people going to get their head around that thought?!
It’s the liberals on the far left that have such negative vehemence for our president. The voice of the American people want nothing to do with this hogwash of an idea.

Impeachment is squarely on the table, and momentum is building. Drill's First Law Of Politics - anyone claiming that "momentum is building" is a loser.
Linda Boyd is director of Washington For Impeachment, www.washingtonforimpeachment.org. Citizens to Impeach Bush and Cheney...
Linda Boyd is a fruitcake living in fantasy-land. The answer to the question in the headline is "Never!"

Hell, if they really want to Impeach someone, impeach Senator Hillary Clinton. All the proof they need to accomplish this is in the US records.

Impeachment proceedings should start on Day 1 if Clinton, Inc. regains the White House.

I think it's all about trust. The left wing loons wanted to and would have in the drop of the hat impeached Cheney if only they can do it with out discussion. Their attitude was, "Trust me, Cheney needs impeached. We don't need to discuss it."
They may think about impeaching Cheney and Bush, they may even dream of impeaching Cheney and Bush and they may wish they could but the trouble is, if they even try, they know all their little lies against Bush and Cheney since 2000 are just that and the country, if they haven't figured it out by now, will know these lies.
Now if they can do it all without discussion, without out all those probing questions, they'd do it in a heart beat.
If I understand the way it works, if Bush and Cheney both could be impeached, that would leave Nasty Pelosi next in line for the big chair doesn't it? I figure she would like that..... REALLY like that if only they can do it without question.
So that leaves them cooked.... stumped. They can only dream about what COULD be if only one of them could actually grow a spine.

Heck it still astounds me that so many in this country would even CONSIDER, never mind support, the wife of an IMPEACHED PRESIDENT.
