I've see the Bushes (more than one) help the Clintons out, and I don't ascribe it to 'class.' Its almost as if the Bushes want the Clintons returned to the White House. And, the Clintons being the Clintons, the favor of a kind word is never returned.

Now I don't trust either family.

Neither do I. I know that people who post on FR about there being a secret world government are flamed but what other explanation could there be?

Another dumb article by Dick Morris. The President said the obvious that Hillary Clinton has the most chance of winning the democrat nomination but he also said in the same interview that the Republican nominee will beat her and win the Presidency.

This article deserves a big barf alert.

Soooo many skeletons in the closet for both families (Bush Sr, BJ). I don’t think they will turn on each other.

What a load of bullcrock. This “Bush is supporting Hillary” drivel from the recent days is more overstretched than Pelosi’s face. Now they have to increase the hyperbole to “rescue”.

1.It hurts Hillary with the Democrat base to be associated
with Bush. An “endorsement” from the “Great Satan” is a
death kiss.

2.Bush merely said that she had first-hand experience in the
WH. That’s not supporting, not rescuing, not endorsing
anyone.

Attack Bush and the RINOs when it makes sense. Relying on this moonbatery makes us look... well like moonbats.

Anything morris says about hillary should be viewed through his hate-colored glasses. he hates the clintons so much he’s not able to be rational about them. Thus, anybody who doesn’t hate hillary as much as he does is “helping” her.

Gee funny how the stupid stories get posted over and over and over by the Know Nothings while they simply ignore the good news. I know BDS causes extreme mental retardation in it victims but even they should not be this utterly stupid.

Mrs Bill Clinton is running in the Democrat Primaries. For the average Democrat Activist GW Bush is a cross between Adolf Hitler, Joe Stalin and Satan. Having him say nice things about Mrs Clinton has the same effect on Democrat Voters that having the high priest of the Church of Satan make favorable mention of a pope candidate would have on Catholics Cardinals.

The democrats hate Bush. How in the world would President Bush’s endorsement of Hillary be a positive?

Why do so many fall for what Dick Morris says?

From the interview, Bush also said, "I do believe our candidate will beat her, if she happens to be the nominee."

Acknowledging she can handle pressure isn't exactly endorsing her. Saying she will lose wraps that up.

Morris somehow forgot that portion of his words.

Bush: Clinton Understands White House Pressure

He did not endorse her - he made a statement of the obvious.

The Bush family would be very happy with another Clinton presidency. They have been sweeping each other’s messes under the rug for 20 years. If a Republican like Tancredo was nominated by the Republicans, Bush would campaign openly for Hillary if he thought that would help her chances.

That is why “end the Clinton-Bush Diarchy” would be a good campaign slogan for a conservative or third party candidate if Hillary gets the Dem nomination.

This is just one news sources interpretation of what was said, however:

Things like this, and there are quite a few, push me towards the conspiracy theory that there are only a handful of behind the sconces people running the world. If a favorite starts to lag, someone gets pushed into saying things someone loyal to their party wouldn’t.

As someone up-thread pointed out, these aren’t the words of a person with class.

What if President Bush had said he didn’t think Hillary would win the presidency. That would also give her a ‘boost’. It’s hilarious that this article was written at all about the man the dems love to hate, the stupid, brainless, chimpy mcbushhitler.

So a word about Clinton having been in the WH before is going to help Hillary in a DEMOCRAT primary? I’m sure that all the liberals that have been undecided have now been pushed to the Clinton side. They’ve just been waiting to hear which candidate Bush thinks has the most experience!

Yeah, right.

I've heard Rush say that Bush respects & reveres the Office of the Presidency and therefore won't criticize former presidents, etc. I sat disgusted as Bush "rehabilited" Clinton's reputation, my only reasoning was Rush's statement. I no longer respect this reasoning.

Now, I'm so disgusted with Bush & the Clintons and their mindset. The respect for the Office of the President has to be earned and Clinton's rehabilitation is a slap in the face of people who love this country. It occurs to me this is like royalty, if honor is not deserved.

I voted for Bush 4 times. I don't regret those votes even today, because the alternatives were too far left, but I can say, GWB has been extremely disappointing. I don't think I'm alone, I haven't sent a dime to the RNC. I've sent a small check for John Cornyn's reelection and I love my own representative in Congress, Lamar Smith.
