ok I have serious reservations about Fred Thompson but his position EITHER WAY on schiavo are NOT an issue.
The disengenuous nature of this debate is the fact that it is just attempting to relitigate the same case.
The debate should be directed at how to PREVENT the next case like it. How do we resolve such cases where there is no living will OR healthcare surrogate and the incapacitated person has a spouse at odds with the family.
Focus on prevention, not this absurd relitigation of a closed case. It only diminishes the cause.

God gave you neither the instruction nor the right to guide others down their spiritial paths. How you find your way to God is between you and God; sharing that story is one thing and often a good thing when helps to illuminate paths for undirected souls.
How the Schiavos, the judge in the case, me, Thompson's supporters, or Thompson himself find their way to God is between each individual and God and YOU HAVE NO PLACE IN IT. You insult God and righteousness by projecting your own hatred on others and pretending that it's "Godly."

“thnkgodshesdead” is not the pathway to God. The hatred aimed at Terri Schiavo and other disabled people is twisted. Praying for the salvation of those who are eaten up with hatred is a Christian act. Feeding that hatred and worshipping the source of that hatred is not the pathway to God.

Terri Schiavo was murdered. You’d think somebody on a show called Law & Order would have picked up on that. We don’t want disabled people denied rehab, robbed of their rehab funds and then killed, mmmmmkay? She got the entire package.
It will be interesting when McClellan's book comes out in April. Certainly, Former Press Secretary McClellan knows what really happened to Terri. Sounds like he was pretty ticked when he left the administration.

I could care less what you do at the debate. If you do it right, maybe you will be arrested. If you carry your sign, maybe Fred will sue you for slander since you have nothing to back up your claims.

I feel sorry for Fred, frankly. He’s an older guy and it’s really unfair of us to expect him to be sharp as a tack all the time. I like the guy, but I think he’s just lost a step or two.
