I was so torn by this video. On the one hand, the host showed a real class - he could have just leveled that chick with a good overhand right, but he held back and refused a physical confrontation. On the other hand, women are equal, right? They should get hit equally as hard.

The general rule is that one must never hit "a lady".

However one may defend themselves against a raving animal. Suffice to say, had he not been under the threat of death from the Chavez thugs, he would have defended himself. I think he knows the score with the tyrant and his supporters however.

I hope he survives.

Its nice to see she has the fashion sense of a communist. A pink slutty t-shirt must be the normal attire for a leftist politician who goes on television.

Gustavo Azocar showed great restraint, good for him, the woman is running high on emotional hormones and stupidity.

I'd be willing to bet there were some other chemicals involved too.

This is Chavez’s public relations team at work. If they are this bad in public, it is for sure his goons are deadly and wide-spread. The lights in South America are going out.

This is a product of Teddy Kennedy and his fringe group of catholics who preach “Liberation Theology”. Christians who will tolerate and use Marxism for social change. Is Chavez an example of the law of unintended consequence or the curse of dreams coming true?

As we know, Chavez has many useful idiots to assist and empower him. Danny Glover, Sean Penn, Cindy Sheehan, Kevin Spacey and the venerable Jimmy Carter are a few among many American leftists that give him aid and comfort and have nothing but blame and hatred for their own country. These people are more than stupid - they are willing supporters of anarchy and traitors to their country. The history of death, destruction and total sucking away of the lifeblood of countries by animal despots like Chavez is being written again before our eyes and it is only a matter of time before he will not be content to be ignored by our government. This will get worse for the US.

His is the law of intended consequences of class warfare. He is a socialist at heart who created a military machine of the lower socio-economic class, promised and delivered some goods and has built a power base that has taken over. He has pretty much nationalized Citgo, put his military goons in charge, stolen and destroyed much of the country’s infrastructure and is really putting a severe squeeze on any serious opponents. If you would have heard him talk publicly about Condoleeza Rice, for instance, you would be shocked at the language. Accused her essentially of being a woman in need of sex, but he’s not going to give it to her - that kind of stuff.

He’s going to get a lot of people killed.

Now here’s the other side of the coin:

I’ve thought for years that any Republican, or conservative, candidate for office who gave the same response to the likes of Chris Matthews, Bryant Gumbel, Keith Olbermann, Matt Lauer, Rather, et al, would win his race in a complete landslide. Okay maybe not the microphone and furniture, they didn’t offend. But a good *itchslapping onscreen would do wonders for the discovery of a Republican backbone.
