And yet nationally, in most polls he is mostly in 2nd or tied for 2nd.

Imagine that, you throw up one state, to make your contention, and I can throw up the nation to make mine.

Who do you think wins?

State or National

Not sure what Brit said but in looking at the latest Rasmussen poll numbers it looks like Fred has inched up a hair and still running neck and neck with Romney at about 14%. Huckabee has inched up a hair to 12%. McCain hanging at 11%. Giuliani slipped to 24%.

Not sure what “knifing” Brit did to Fred. But Fred has noone but himself to blame for his lackluster campaign. Is Fred even running for something? Could have fooled me. The man has no passion. What a major disappointment he has been (from my personal perspective). Having said that he is far from finished yet based on the poll numbers. If he would just jumpstart his campaign and get going he might be able to make something happen. It is all up to him and not the Brit Humes of the world.

I’m never going to vote for Rudy and I’m leaning toward never voting for Romney. Huckabee is awful.

Juan McCain's predilections to amnesty make him a no go.

Without Fred, it's lefty or leftier.

That's a sign of the times, I guess. A condition of the fall.

Thompson is to listless as Romney is to plastic, I guess.

I agree. I have been leaning toward Fred, but he hasn’t delivered as I expected. He has the potential to be a charismatic figure, but he doesn’t seem to have the energy required.

I like Hunter, but he doesn’t have a chance. I’m starting to lean toward Romney mainly because we need a good manager in the job and he has the credentials.

No president will ever deliver everything we want.

Yea Right!

Not my impression at all.

I see a man who has more fire-in-the-belly than either Rudy or Mitt.

He keeps on going like the energizer bunny in spite of all the knats that buzz around him.

Brit is level-headed and straight-talking. If he thought Mitt's campaign--or Giuliani's--was dead in the water, he wouldn't hesitate to say so.

Point is, Fred's been running for three months now and has dropped substantially in all the early state polls. In light of the evidence it's easy to agree with Brit.

For a long time Fred was at 1% in NH. He didn’t court the blue state and they chose Romney for their prom queen. 4% is quadruprle his early support. NH is a lousy place to judge the rest of the Republican nomination with.

Fred seems to have kept his rabid supporters but that is not enough. You need to add tons and tons of new supporters and he did not. It is not the responsibility of those that do not “get” Fred to “get” him. Fred has to assume responsibility for not getting more supporters.
