O'Reilly: Hillary Is a Lock for Party Nod

Hillary Clinton's political machine is so powerful that only a demonstrable scandal can keep her from winning the Democratic presidential nomination, Fox News host Bill O'Reilly tells Newsmax in an exclusive interview.

The machine is just too powerful,O'Reilly tells Newsmax: She may lose New Hampshire and Iowa. But it doesn't matter.

On Super Tuesday, she's got the dough, he says. The Democratic stalwarts are going to come out in her favor

Sen. Clinton has been roundly criticized for waffling in recent debates on issues such as New York Gov. Elliott Spitzer's now-defunct proposal to give driver's licenses to illegal aliens. As a result, some pundits see her as politically vulnerable.

O'Reilly disagrees.

She's going to pretty much walk in there, I believe, unless there's a scandal, he says.

Interesting. And I agree. Hillary is going to take the nomination and take it huge.

To believe otherwise, is, IMO, whistling past the graveyard.

- and I suggest that we all prepare for it.

It's more powerful than that - the Hsu scandal would have brought down any other candidate, but it just rolled right off her back.

No scandal at all can stop her - she's been engineering this campaign for at least a decade, operationally.

And what's nuts...is none of her rivals have really harped on it........

I suspect most informed folks expect Hillary to win the Donkey nomination, to preparation isn't an issue.

Gee, Bill O, what scandal might that be? Perhaps one which you refuse to report? http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=7007109937779036019&pr=goog-sl

Bill,
There are at least four scandals working at the moment. The planting of questions in the debates should be another but it doesn’t have legs.

The Clintons are one of the dirtiest and most scandal-plagued couples in the history of the Republic, yet look where they are now - Bill’s raking in millions in speaking fees from starstruck liberals and his Gorgon, err, Wife is going to be the democratic nominee for the Presidency of the United States. I’m beginning to think that there is absolutely nothing these two career political whores can do or say to derail themselves.

Not so nutty when you consider they were all pretty much guilty of the same thing.

They gotta come up with a scandal that won't also backfire on them.

Finding a Democrat that hasn't taken drugs, hasn't cheated on his/her spouse, hasn't taken bribes, hasn't been in bed with lobbyists, etc. is pretty hard.

If only they could find out that Hillary owns a handgun or that she crossed a picket line or that she had a brain, then she'd be dead meat!

Mrs. Clinton, for all of her shortcomings, is head and shoulders above even other Democrat in the pack.

She is definitely the best they have at this point in time, as well as the most politically savvy.

Edwards reeks with insincerity, Obama with naivete. Its pitiful but no one else in their party even comes close to her as presidential

Perhaps I'm reading between the lines but could Bill be hinting at something here?

I like Bill’s take on this. We want Hillary to get the nod because we know she’s unelectable in a nat. campaign. She’ll beat the cr@p out of Osama and then pick him as a running mate having done the GOP’s dirty work. No?

I agree.

Super-duper Tuesday is everything in the nomination process. Never before have 24 states held primaries at the same time. You need M O N E Y and very high recognition to compete.

IA, NH, SC and MI before Feb5th really mean little, if anything...for BOTH the dims and the GOP.

There's just not enough time between IA and super-duper Tuesday to leverage a surprise win...even IF you're wallerin' in cash. Your polling just won't change that much, baring something disasterous, between IA and Feb 5th.

People and pundits who still believe it's possible to make a run from obscurity to nomination by leveraging a win in IA or NH...or both...are the one's whistling past the graveyard.

IMO, this means it will be either Rudy or Fred against Hillary in 2008. They're the only 3 in the race...and Fred's in trouble.

Rudy is making the “right” noises, as much as I dislike our cross dressing candidate, he has donors in TX coughing large money, and no one else except for Romney has even a shot.

If Fred is going to move on up, the time is now, he needs to make a Big Push.

Hilde’s a lock, all a Obama win in IO will do is write a better narrative for her campaign..”She didn’t waltz into the nomination, she had to struggle after losing Iowa...”

Gag, we may be better served targeting key House and Senate races folks Rooty has nothing for us and will drive people (Honest Conservatives) to stay home and that will sink our Congressional chances.

We are in DEEP TROUBLE...if all Dims have taken $$ linked to the ChiComs.

Something tells me that this is just what the Shadow Gov planned all along. When the conservatives stay home The Hildabeast rides in. Man-o-Man, I see this in braille coming. Remember, we get the type of government that we will tolerate.
