This is an excerpt from a column I wrote for WorldNetDaily.com last week. It is about how politically correct sex education is harming girls' health. The full version can be reached through the link above.
As an intern at the Clare Boothe Luce Policy Institute, Ive been working with our Senior Fellow, Miriam Grossman, M.D., author of the book Unprotected: A Campus Psychiatrist Reveals How Political Correctness in Her Profession Endangers Every Student. Dr. Grossman has garnered media attention because she exposed the fact that health educators often risk students well-being in order to promote a particular ideology -- usually a combination of feminism, androgyny, and anything goes liberalism.
In the upside-down world of politically correct health care, the main priority is to never make moral judgments about a patients behavior, and factual information is suppressed if it threatens political agendas.
Ive been researching sex education and sexual health care for Dr. Grossmans columns and articles. Ive browsed health websites, sex ed manuals, even teen magazines like CosmoGIRL and Seventeen. Although much of the health information is politicized, the advice offered to young girls on sexual decision-making is downright scandalous.
There is no right time to have your first intercourse. This is a choice you make, declares GoAskAlice.com, a popular health Web site. This canard is repeated ad nauseum in sex education programs and magazines geared toward middle and high school students, such as Seventeen (dont let the name fool you most of its readership is under 16).
There is no correct age at which you are supposed to have sex, declares the health Web site coolnurse.com. Everyone has to make a very personal decision about what is right for them.
Really? What if a girl decides sex is right for her at age 12 or 13?

I’m 51 years old and female and STRAIGHT. While I wouldn’t want those photos taken of a 16 year old, they are well within the bounds of good taste. She’s lovely and let’s face it: that window closes way fast, so enjoy it while you can! LOL
Welcome to FR, Ashley.
One way to stop teenagers from having premarital sex is to stop their hypersexualization, which includes immodest dress.
A reasoned basis for this statement is probably too much to ask.
The following is a simple natural law argument for monogamy and post-marital sex.
1) Looking at the bodies of men and women, it's obvious that they play complementary roles in the process of bringing new human life into the world. This is the way nature meant children to come into the world, hence the term, "reproductive system" or "genitals."
2) No reasonable person would argue that children are better off raised by anyone other than their biological parents. Nevertheless, there are some unreasonable people who do. These people need to become acquainted with the data regarding the rate of sexual abuse by step-parents.
3) And if it's not obvious that children are generally better off being raised by both of their natural parents, then again, I would point them to the sociological data regarding the effect of divorce on children.
4) The act of sexual intercouse is pleasurable and ordered by nature toward procreation. It is also unitive, as common sense, common experience, and current scientific data affirms.
5) It follows then that this unitive aspect of intercourse is ordered by nature toward the unity of the man and woman for their benefit(4), and also for the benefit of the children who may issue from the act (2).
6) Moreover, nature intends this unitive bonding to be lifelong, since the children of parents bonded together for life are generally happier and healthier than children raised otherwise (3).
7) If one or the other members of the bonded couple engages in intercourse with a third person, then new natural bonds will be formed, weakening the original bond which nature intended, to the detriment of the original couple and their children (5).
8) Since nature intends intercourse to unify the couple for life, for the benefit of the couple and the benefit of children which may issue from the act, no man or woman should engage in intercourse without having made a lifetime commitment to the other partner.
8) Therefore, intercourse outside of a lifetime commitment is harmful and wrong.
All those exposed bosoms are used by professional women to intimidate men. A work tool!
You're right on the mark. It's mutual masturbation, to coin a phrase.
Check it out... very informative!!
Now you’re getting ridiculous. ;-)

Curious name for a website. "Go Ask Alice" is the (true) diary of a young girl who "choose" to be a drug user and what her life was like as a drug user. It has a curious ending which you can see if you highlight the following:
"Alice"'s final entry indicates that she's going to get on with her life now. Ironically, the epilogue notes that within a couple of weeks of making that entry, after she's cured, she died of a drug overdose.
Check your FReepmail.
She hooks up with Jerry Lee Lewis, and bang, game on.
As someone who worked in advertising and marketing for many years, I totally agree.
Thanks for the “welcome” messages! Any concerned parents out there (or college students, for that matter) should really think about buying a copy of “Unprotected.” I was shocked by some of the things I learned from it!

Some have argued that we should be teaching teens “outercourse” as a defense to engaging in intercourse. It’s just a ruse. Just as the issue of condoms in school forever shifted the argument from IF teens should have sex to WHEN...
The so-called womens’ movement has benefited only unscrupulous men who are looking for free sex without commitment, and destroys women. The movement is concerned only with its own power.
Teach her to respect herself and to expect others to give her respect too. It is a different side of the coin.
And a kind and honest woman will do the opposite.
I wouldn’t trade our conservative babes for the liberals’ “womyn” for all the money in the world!
And, BTW, the article was great!
