W looks very tired. He surely does need our prayers.

I just love the ‘toaster’ photo of the President and his mother — it touches my ‘maternal’ heart!

The President is going to leave office with an amazing legacy — he resuscitated our economy and he kept us safe after 911 (and freed 50 million souls in the process)!

jtill, thank you for your prayers. Prayer IS wonderful and that so many people who did not know us were praying for us was overwhelming. I thank God often, try to do it every night but sometimes I nod off in the middle of my thanks to Him. Then when I wake up, I thank Him for giving me such a good night's rest.

Snugs, you know as well as anyone and better than most how hard it is to be a caregiver and to take care of yourself. I have gained much respect for those of you who have done this for lots longer than I have.

There was another photo of the First Lady today coming out of Church but it was not any better and I agree, what a shame as I love her black outfit and jewelry. Rarely does she take a bad photo...W has a miffed expression in the first two photos, also, but looks like his old self in the third one.

"“With our soul, with our blood we will die for you Iraq,”

A wonderful article. Thanks for posting it.

Thank you.

I loved your Sat. dose especially the article about the Sr. Bush's speech at Jenna's appearance. What a great family. I was impressed that 41 did single out Jenna's achievement but included all his grandchildren in his praise.

I thought he had his media exasperated expression I suspected that a photographer or reporters either said something or maybe is one that he does not care for from previous experience.

A wise grandfather it is important to praise one if they have achieved but also important not to forget the others.

Not many photos today but seeing W coming out of Church is so uplifting to many of us, myself included.

Awesome article, Deb. A snippet from it ... it was at Besmaya where the Iraqi soldiers donated $1,000 for the CA fires.

What wonders our merciful God creates.

~~~~~~
“At the Besmaya Training Camp, where soldiers are trained by a joint Iraqi-U.S. team, young graduates waited nervously for the prime minister to arrive as they practiced chants and waved unloaded M-16s in the air.”
*****Hey everyone***
The other night I told you I was reading The Terrorist Watch...you really have to read this book!!
Anyway, it says that the grenade that was thrown at President Bush while he was giving a speech in the country of Georgia, was a live one, that the 'two spoons' that were suppose to disengage got stuck,if it HAD gone off President Bush would be DEAD!!! The secret service did NOT KNOW that the Georgians were running out of time to get the 150,000 people through the magnetometers, so they just shut them off and let everyone in!!!!!!!
Thank you Jesus for protecting this man!!!!
Oh my...that explains the "thread of goodness" I felt when shaking his hand.
George W. Bush was meant to lead at this time in history. It is his destiny.
And it PROVES God loves the U.S.A., liberty, and freedom.
AND WE MUST ALL DO OUR PARTS TO KEEP THE GOODNESS GOING.
Vote. Call. Write. Walk Precincts. Volunteer. Make a difference.
OMG ... we were so stunned and frightened by that at the time.
Thank you, Lord.
