I can't say I'm much of a gardener.
It's all a bit too much like hard work, especially wasting hot summer days mowing the lawn into neat little lines - I'd much rather get the deckchair out and crack open a can. And now I can - and get the lawn cut with the Automower from Husqvarna.
It's a gardener's dream, cutting grass automatically without being pushed or guided - even if there's a tree or two to negotiate. Use the perimiter wire to cordon off flower beds, young trees, ponds and swimming pools and automower does the rest.
As well as saving you all the hassle of mowing the lawn, the Automower is also good for your grass. With only the top of the grass is cut each time, the clippings are small enough to be allowed to fall back into the lawn, which provides a natural source of compost during the summer. And with blade technology in the Automower much more effective than most standard lawnmowers, your grass will apparently have an almost "carpet-like smoothness".
Don't expect stripes like the Wembley turf of old, but if you want the job done without leaving your lounger, it sounds a winner. But you'll have to be someone who really values their time - it sells for around £1,500 ($ 3,100).
I’ve ALWAYS wanted to visit Tuscany.....
“Ive ALWAYS wanted to visit Tuscany.....”
- If you’re sincere in saying so, you will one day.
You don’t need a lot of money, whether you have some or not.
Please feel free to contact me if you want travel advice.
Believe it or not, Chirac is gone. Americans are welcome here in Europe and we can all engage in the reconstruction of the West!
Are YOU in Tuscany? We will visit someday....just finding the right time....probably in the next couple of years actually. I’ve heard the best time is Fall.

- No, but I’ve been to Tuscany several times and I know a lot about this part of Italy (I’m a Swede residing in Gothenburg, West Coast of Sweden by the way).
“Ive heard the best time is Fall”
- Some say so.
The winter months is for people who wish to experience things in life like having Florence all for themselves.
In the period of March-May, Tuscany recapitulates itself.
Summers are too hot (I’ve managed to avoid Mediterranean summers so far in my 38 years of life and I will continue to).
Fall in Tuscany can compete with springtime, but I’m not so sure I’d choose fall over spring.
Anyhow, don’t hesitate to FReepmail me if you’d care to hear out my opinions and advice on visiting different parts of Europe!
Best of regards.
Your descriptions spark an interest in seeing Europe not felt in quite a while.
Robot lawnmower ping.
And you won't believe... how she makes toast!
So does she keep her own “lawn” nice and trimmed?
