The KAC Mk 11s we have here are great. I want one as well..... If you have the opportunity to ask at an Army arms room, ask for a XM110. The Marines call their version the SAMR, [Squad Advanced Marksman Rifle]and for the Navy, who just bought 10 million dollars worth of the things, it's the the Mark 11, Mod somethin else.
The Marines I've talked to REALLY like their SAMRs.

I've got a TA31 with the amber triangle on top of a DPMS M4gery. It's the heat, and overall my favorite. Works extremely well on the move and/or with moving targets. I haven't had the chance to check out the DOC, tho'
For less than 100 yards, though, I find the EOTech Holosight to also be very good -- fast and light. But the ACOG is much more versatile.

You be sure to let me know if another one of those just happens to fall off a truck someplace.
I promise to give it a real good home...

I love the carbine versions of the Mk 11 yet want to see what I can squeeze out of the rigs at work before I lay down my own duckets.........I will buy a non carbine version I think unless something really bad happens. My current long range AR platform is a alexander arms upper in 6.5 grendel that I tried to play the apollo challenge with at great cost in ammo and time TW.....:o) But fun !
I want a alternative to my M1A’s and bolt guns in 7.62 for sod poodles on windy days ......:o)

I can give you a good deal on several of them that I imported from France. Each was never fired and was dropped only once....

My ACOG (as I recall) came with only one screw to affix it to the carry handle, which I wasn't using. So I put the ARMS throw-lever on there, which co-witnesses perfectly with the BUIS and fix front sights.
A sweet piece, and at the nice price!
