I wasn't born at the time of the Vietnam war... I am from the Reagan-Bush Sr generation. This video is my tribute to the previous generation who fought and bled there, and who often thinks that they are ignored by the new generation.

I have the same age of most of the soldiers on the video. It’s only justice. It’s not because I am young that I buy Hollywood’s crap about bad soldiers in Vietnam. Let Freedom ring!

This the first I have seen anything like this since my return from RVN. Perhaps there is a chance history will remember us a bit more kindly than our own countrymen greeted up upon our return.

I heard that Vietnam veterans were greeted with signs “Welcome Home” at a parade in Haiti, in 2007. Things are changing.

I cannot express how I am grateful to Vietnam heroes... You did so well against so many odds, over there and at home. The lack of respect that the veterans got when they came back is the saddest story of today’s America.

thanks very much. I remember watching a football game with an old man who was, I learned it afterwards, a veteran from Iwo Jima.
I was sad that I couldn’t express my gratitude to this man at this moment. The man had been through such atrocious moments to allow me to watch the game. Simply unbelivable.
The unjust treatments of the Vietnam vets is therefore really important for me. In many ways, I think I am one of these guys, I am not older than them when they fought.
