We’ve had a traffic and force protection warning about this.
If I could weasel out of work I’d be there.
I get a minor dose of this nonsense every couple of weeks. My Wife likes going to Bisbee. I like inflicting cognitave dissonance on the dirty hippies that want to water the illegals that are destroying the San Pedro river valley.

Let the protesters in, but don’t let them out again.

Just got word that the Main Gate to post will be closed on Sunday from 0600 to 2000 hours and that all access will be rerouted to the East Gate because of the Freak-A-Zoids annual protest.

I have been in contact with some locals here and we do plan to be there to counter protest. The Local Republican Party has stated they will try to get a good turnout to counter protest on Sunday. Everybody come on down last year we were slightly outnumbered. I would like to reverse that this year.

Troop supporters are meeting here in Tucson at Freedom Park parking lot (Northwest corner of Craycroft and Golf Links) at 8 a.m. to carpool and drive down together.

I wasn't there but my sources tell me about 80 pro-Americans and 150 moonbats. Police kept the two sides separated but let moonbats mingle into the Pro-Americans until a Protest Warrior with a bullhorn embarrassed a moonbatty cop into enforcing the permitted areas.
Moonbat husband had patriotic wife on pro-American side, yelled at her.
A large group of motorcyclists kept going by and revving their engines, causing moonbat speechifying to be disjointed and broken. (even more than usual.)
Red Star story
Sierra Vista Herald story.
I imagine Sandrat will give an AAR in another post.

I was there for about 2 hours and saw/contributed to the FReeping of the Moonbats.
Saw lots of Elect KOO-Sin-Itch signs too.
The motly crew of moonbats were predominately left overs from the ‘60s Anti-Vietnam War Crowd.
