The Boxers or Briefs girl was from the Clinton campaign. I think it was Viacom-MTV. Her mom was a journalist (thus the invite) I think for SeeBS.

They discussed what she should ask and settled on a question about legalizing recreational drugs. The Clinton campaign nixed that and asked for something lighter, thus the Boxers or Briefs question.

That election eve disclosure of the 30 year old DUI definitely cost Bush some votes.

The question is whether it cost him 0.52% of the national vote. If it did, then it cost him the popular vote that Albert Gore Junior likes to brag about.
