Woman Expected To Plead Guilty To Disclosing Unauthorized Info To Hezbollah Sympathizers

(CBS) A woman who previously worked as an FBI agent and a CIA analyst is expected to plead guilty to charges she disclosed unauthorized information to people outside the government, CBS News has learned.

Sources say the woman, from Lebanon, entered the United States on a student visa and earned citizenship through a sham marriage.

While officials say there is no evidence of actual espionage and no evidence that she was working as a spy, she is accused of passing information to sympathizers of Hezbollah, a group the U.S. has labeled a terrorist organization.

The woman is expected to appear in court this afternoon in Detroit

Unbelievable.

I wonder who in the MSM she was leaking to?

And I wonder how many more there are?

“There is no way she could have been a Special Agent, probably hired as a translator.”

You are 100% correct.

Treason is still punishable by hanging, isn’t it?

From the article:

“She also used her access, as an FBI agent, to look up information about herself and her relatives, some of whom may have ties to Hezbollah. She also is accused of improperly taking classified information home with her.”

Yes, and I for one would like to see it applied swiftly in this instance.

One of the most dangerous and evil places in this country is the U.S. State Department. It is infested with spy's and idiots!

Make the Ed. Department wait, close the State Department, send all of their phonies back to their home towns and most of all, kick the UN out of the US!

If true, this really is the last straw.

During the clinton years, the FBI employed a lot of Muslims as “double agents.” Many of these people were involved in the OKC bombing. Almost certainly their primary loyalties were to Islam, not the FBI.

But at least they were not actual agents.

In the old days it would have been extremely rare to hire a foreign born agent for the FBI or the CIA, because of the dangers of dual loyalties, or inserted spies and double agents.

These agencies have both been broken ever since the Church Commission trashed them, and both got far worse during the clinton years, when he filled them with his own corrupt stooges.

Bush has done zero, nada, zilch to fix these problems he inherited, unfortunately. He seems content to let the clintons and their friends in the media to continue to run them.

The FBI and CIA are in a bind as Arabic linguists are difficult to come by. Native speakers of Arabic occupy many positions in the FBI performing translations, but I sure wouldn’t trust their interpretations.

It is impossible for any Muslim to swear allegience to the United States. Their religion forbids such an act. Arab Christians would be more reliable but often family ties hinder their ability to perform well.

........why this woman was employed by the FBI......

Besides the diversity thing, it's the Arabic-speaking thing. As long as you do not actually shoot or blow up the interviewer, you're in. The FBI, while man for man is nowhere remotely near as dumb as BATF people, it still isn't as collectively smart as the CIA, or the NSA, or ONI, or USAI.

Whenever you get all dewy-eyed about the FBI in Peace and War, just remember the Walker Spy Case. It took Walker's wife 5 years and about 20 tries to turn him and the rest of her family in. And it wasn't as if she didn't actually go in their offices and tell FBI Agents, "My husband is a Soviet Agent."

She reported to the Boston and Hyannis offices, where we now know the agents were just too busy helping Whitey Bulger's Irish Mob bump off the Italian Mob, so Whitey could take over.

Walker passed ALL of our communications codes from the Navy (which handled all commo in and out of VN) to the Soviets, who immediately passed them to the North VietNamese (in case you were wondering how the NVA always seemed to know where we were going next and what we were going to do ... usually before we did).

Heck, just pull her clearance for 3 years and give her a plum job with the Hillary Campaign. After all she was just sloppy.
