A new international treaty among the world's countries that would give control of OUR country and OUR territory to bureaucrats from other countries has been put on the table for discussion this month. Is that good for us as Americans?
You decide. Then, you must call your Senator & Congressman & complain.

Subject: Sea Treaty threatens national sovereignty
Grassfire.org
+ + "I am absolutely convinced it undermines
U.S. sovereignty." - Sen. Trent Lott (R-MS)
11/12/2007
Grassfire has just learned that the "Law of the Sea Treaty" being
pushed for by the White House, and bolstered by a 17-4 vote of
approval by the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, is expected
to come up for a Senate ratification before the end of the month. (emphasis mine)
This is the same U.N. treaty dismissed by Ronald Reagan more than 20 years ago; and would put us under governing authority
of an international body, put our sovereignty and military at risk
and subject us to direct taxation by the U.N!
++ 100,000 Petitions needed for IMMEDIATE DELIVERY
Grassfire has launched a national petition calling for the Senate
to reject the "Law of the Sea Treaty".
Our goal is to rally 100,000 citizen signers over the next two weeks for delivery to key Senate leadership BEFORE the vote takes place perhaps before Thanksgiving.
Grassfire is urging ALL team members who share our concern for protecting our nation's sovereignty to sign our petition by clicking here:

Even Lott get’s it : )
All this occurred during FDR's term--so it'a happened, but the play must be acted out.
And, y'all we were kooks, eh?
“Then, you must call your Senator & Congressman & complain.”
What if your senator or congressman agrees with ratification of the Law of the Seas Treaty? It’s more and more evident that those we elect to represent us disregard the will of those who who put them in office.
All we have to do is to recall the case of the illegal aliens that is still not resolved, even after the country overwhelmingly made their opinion known regarding this matter.
:-)
Yes he does.
It ain’t over till it’s ratified. That’s the death knell.
“All we have to do is to recall the case of the illegal aliens that is still not resolved, even after the country overwhelmingly made their opinion known regarding this matter”
We stopped the SOB’s a couple times already, and we will do it again!!! Never give up!!!
We only need 34 senators to oppose it. Don't just call yours, call them all.
All we have to do is to recall the case of the illegal aliens that is still not resolved, even after the country overwhelmingly made their opinion known regarding this matter.
I understand that but what are we supposed to do, roll over without putting up a fight? Tell them when you call that you're watching to see how they vote and if they agree to ratifying it, you will fight against them in their next election with all you have. Let them know there will be consequences for their actions concerning this treaty.
Excellent! Never give up!
Now that's a surprise.............
If even Lott can see the inherent danger LOST will be if ratified, there's hope for others to wise up.
All the more reason to raise Cain!
“.......he has spoken out harshly about the Law of the Sea Treaty (L.O.S.T.) as it gives US sovereignty of the sea to (gulp) the UN. Hunter stated that: It is imperative that our nation does not surrender decision making power for military navigation or resource extraction, especially in this age of terrorism with technology and weapons”

August, 07 - “#13. Do you support the Law of the Sea Treaty? If not, will you revoke it if it passes before you take office?
Hunter: No, in the past I have opposed the Law of the Sea Treaty. I expect that to continue. There are serious issues of sovereignty involved, and as in the past, I have no intention of letting US sovereignty be eroded.

God bless Hunter.
IIRC, when Thompson was asked about his support for LOST he said---"not at this time."
If that don't make people sit up and take notice that he is willing to change his opinion and give LOST the go-ahead-nothing will.

“As the nation’s construction work force becomes increasingly Hispanic, having bilingual employees is a tool second only to a hammer and nails, builders said. Even if builders looked elsewhere, English-speaking labor might be hard to find, said Barry Payne, who builds about 20 homes a year in the Tennessee Valley. Hispanics are “who’s doing the work,” Mr. Payne said. “It has kind of been forced on the market right now.”
