These “Fathers Rights” types really need to take a long hard look at how they screwed up. They need to look in the mirror to see why the marriage failed.

I’m not saying that all marriages fail because the husband was a no good bum.

But still... if he married a “bride-zilla” type of girl; a girl he met in a bar; a girl.... well you know what I mean.... then she leaves him, takes the kids and takes him to the cleaners in divorce court..... then I still feel zero sympathy for him.

Men need to take responsibility 1st.

Exactly. They need to quit acting like a bunch of victims. It takes two to end a marriage.

Marriages last because both partners are investing in it. If one stops investing in a marriage the other reacts to that and a marriage collapses. I’m no marriage expert but my husband invests in our marriage all the time. And when he invests in our marriage I invest right back. And it keeps us both in love with each other, faithful, and best of friends.

You are so full of it your eyes are brown!
Let me sum up the results of mine. 45K in legal fees, not allowed to see my children. Once the kids were old enough, they moved in with me. Remarried (16 years now) and NO CHILDREN. VERY HAPPY, my kids are 23 and 25 and live in my town and see me every day. Their mom lives where she moved 3K miles away and sees them once a year. I didn’t do anything wrong. She was enticed to move near where MOMMY retired. Now they live together and the kids live with me.
The KEY, marry a professional woman that makes as much as you do and DON’T HAVE KIDS! The divorce incentive goes away.PS, I meet my first wife at church!!!! Of course she changed religions after our divorce.

My wife developed severe psychological problems over the last 10 years. I married a nice Catholic girl so that divorce would never be an issue. Fighting for shared custody now.......

If your prospective bride’s family includes a lawyer or knows one in a small practice, there is a good chance that relationship will be detrimental to your future. That lawyer gets his income from marriages that can be disassembled. He/she will have advice to give from time to time and every marriage has bumpy spots.

These man thought he married a nice Christian girl.

“Police say Mary Winkler, 32, confessed to shooting her husband to death in the parsonage in a crime that shocked the congregation and shattered the couple’s happy and loving image.”

Men need to take responsibility 1st....

sort of reminds me of the old military saying; all the responsibility, without any authority...

I for one, recommend that young men, avoid marriage, until the female person, has equal value, that is career, income, and savings....so, if a new house is in the plan then the female person, contributes an equal amount to the purchase and subsequent expenses...until the female person, has the money, then rent am apartment...
