It was early 1993, in the first days of the Clinton administration, when Hillary Clinton's friend and former thesis adviser at Wellesley College took the phone call that would land him in the middle of a political intrigue. "I got a call from ... the White House shortly after the inauguration, saying the Clintons had decided not to release her thesis," professor Alan H. Schechter told MSNBC.com. "I said, 'Why? It's a good thesis.' I got some mumbo jumbo about how they were beginning to work on health care and she had criticized Sen. Moynihan in the thesis, and didn't want to alienate him." In fact, the thesis from 1969 contains not a negative word about .... Moynihan, the late Democratic senator from New York, and Schechter allows that the real source of fear must have been the subject of the academic paper: Chicago radical organizer Saul Alinsky.
"I argued with them that they should release it . "The more you hide something, the more people will want it," Schechter said. "It was a stupid political decision, obviously, at the time." After the call from the White House, Wellesley's president, consulted with lawyers and closed access to any thesis written by a U.S. president or first lady, a rule affecting only Hillary D. Rodham's thesis. . the thesis can be read at your local library one library at a time, that is. A single copy, on microfilm, can be ordered from Wellesley on a 30-day interlibrary loan. but anyone who publishes the text could be liable for statutory damages of up to $150,000. Of course, it's not clear whether a presidential candidate would want to draw even more attention to her writings on an old radical by suing. © 2007

I’d rather read John Galt’s speech in Atlas Shrugged ( and I’ve never been able to get thru that)
I seem to remember, there was a very small window where it was available from the web.
Hidden?!
The Communist Manifesto is readily available.
Have you read it?
That's a cause worth contributing to. And I'm sure for the RNC it's fairly small potatoes compared to its worth as a damaging weapon of mass destruction. Political TV Ads are more expensive than that................
“How the Clintons hid Hillary’s thesis”
They hid it in Sandy Burglar’s undies?
I think that the contents of Hillary’s almost 40 year old thesis is not near as troubling as some her more recent and well documented pronouncements.
A worthy cause for online filesharing.
Is there a pdf in circulation anywhere?
Not very freaking likely, esp. if published for free. Can you say "Fair Use"?
/not legal advice, get a lawyer before publishing, just saying...
$150 grand is all. Rush should take up a collection and get the papers. She should now even be allowed to run if she is hiding papers or any other information about her past.
I have it also.
And I got it, or either got the link, here. ;-)
I have heard about it for years. No one has read it because they won’t release it. If it’s not her own personal Marxist Manifesto, as most of us suspect, then why are they hiding it? Why are they hiding the notes on her health care plan? Why do the Clinton’s hide as much as they can get away with hiding?
My first BARF ALERT Is this the proper procedure?
I finished Alinksy’s Rules For Radicals last week.
The man was insightful and anyone on either side of any organizing effort would find it useful. It should be studied.
One of his first points is the obvious that the means/ends argument always comes down to which specific means and which specific end. The problem is that he defines every issue in the context of communism as the correct end. He can then rationalize any action.
Although his specific examples are fairly tame, Alinsky’s rhetoric is designed to inspire revolution. I didnt get the feeling that he always meant revolution in the metaphorical sense. Thus Slick Hillie doesn’t want everyone understanding whose feet she was sitting at.
At one point he feeds 100 blacks with can after can of baked beans and gives them tickets to the symphony so they would as loudly as possible express themselves through their backsides. This was a real tactic designed to get wives to pressure their husbands to give into Alinksy’s demands.
The title should have never been Rules For Radicals but Farting At The Symphony.
You have FReepMail
I guess I’ve been misinformed. Some here say it’s available. Years ago the word was it was not.
It’s almost hidden in plain sight - here’s a link to a pdf of the whole thing. Download, read and distribute at will (your own peril).

I could have sworn I read it online a couple of years ago. And if I remember correctly, it was so gawd awful I don’t blame her for wanting to keep it hidden.
typical obnoxious juvenile left-wing tactics at getting noticed in a world of grownups.
