His wife is in control.
>>”We don’t believe he has a very clear understanding of the Second Amendment and what it means to protect the right to keep and bear arms,” executive director Sam Paredes added in an interview.
Schwartzenkennedy wants to change the rules so he can become President.
I think that Governor Arnold Kennedy should never have signed the microstamping bill, despite what his wife told him to do.
This “microstamping” issue doesn’t make me question his ideology so much as his intelligence. He’s dumb if he thinks this will in any way contribute to solving crimes (any more than the old law of recording handgun ammunition purchases did), and he’s dumb if he doesn’t understand that it’s merely a law to impose higher overhead cost to companies that want to sell their products in California.
I think a lot of the extremely right-wing Republicans, who won’t even vote against outlawing assault weapons, they’re going to be upset with him,” said Sen. Jack Scott, ...
Oh? And what “assualt weapons would those be?”
Can’t say I’ve ever seen many outside of the force.
Wait a minute.
I am not defending Governor Schwarzenegger on signing the CA Microstamping and 'Lead-Free' ammo bills, but to those in the know, Sam Paredes of 'Gun Owners of California' is probably most to blame in regards to the behind the scenes workings of how the bills came to be signed.
What happened was that Paredes had a personal vendetta against a CA Dept of Fish & Game administrator who had been a relatively good friend to the issue of RKBA and decided to lobby the Governor to remove him from his job. Paredes finally managed to get his way and when it came time for the Governor's staff to round up 'Yea-or-Nay' testimony over the two bills in question, the soon-to-be fired administrator spitefully fired back at 'Gun Owners of California' and chose not to support opposition to their signing.
'Gun Owners of California' are not your friends, California shooters. Those schmucks are responsible for more anti-gun legislation being passed than they've defeated.
This coming from someone who is NOT a reasonable person on the issue.
CA State Senator Jack Scott (D, Pasadena) says he'd be "PLEASED" to see guns confiscated from homes
Oh, he’s the one they voted for because he could win. Sound familiar?
I suspect Sen. Scott's definition of an "assault weapon" is .....
...any firearm.
