Warm Reception For Wall (Saskatchewan Party (Conservative) Win Landslide Vote Alert)

Saskatchewan’s new government is receiving a warm reception from Conservative governments in both Edmonton and Ottawa. The morning after the Saskatchewan general election – where the Sask. Party took 38 of 58 seats – was a bright one for Lloyd Snelgrove, Alberta MLA and cabinet minister. “With the new premier and the new attitude in government, I think the future for the prairies – for Western Canada – has never been brighter than it is this morning,” said Snelgrove, MLA for Lloydminster-Vermilion and President of the Treasury. With the Sask. Party generally seen as the more right-wing party in the province, Snelgrove believes it will be much easier for the two provinces to work together on infrastructure and trade issues. While he has high personal respect for former premier Lorne Calvert, the ideology of the NDP was simply too different for the two governments to work together effectively, he said. “The philosophies that you come with for problem-solving are so diametrically opposed that there were very little solutions there,” he said.

Blue = Conservative in Canada. The election was last Wednesday. Western Canada is pretty much conservative country. The Liberals won no seats in Saskatchewan.

Blue has throughout history been associated with conservatism.

The media in the USA inverted that several years ago in an attempt to distance your DemocRats from the communistic direction their leadership has taken.

Red state/blue state is upside down.

The PC's have barely a flicker of life in Saskatchewan after being taken down by scandal. But there's now a better party to represent conservatives in the province. We all wish it well.

The Conservatives should go for the gold. Insist on a private health care system besides the government one. Competition to a socialist enterprise is like sunlight, garlic and a cross to a vampire. They can laugh at any objections: don’t you want Canadians to have a choice, so that they can pick the better way?

Then they should beat the drum for strong anti-crime and defense initiatives. Slash taxes and regulations, reduce the size of the bureaucracy, make it easier to start small businesses. Right now the Canadian dollar is strong, so start importing a lot of merchandise, the export market can still be balanced by increasing oil production to the US.

The Conservatives can dominate Canadian politics for at least of couple of decades if the take the initiative now.

This is good news to me. Finally, at last, hope for Saskatchewan. I guess they really do have some people with common sense.

Many of my relatives live there, including Aunt Grace who will be so sad that Saskatchewan is blue.

Since red is my favorite color I am not complaining! Although I grew up on the tail end of the Cold war I recognize the historical significance of that color, and can understand why some do not want to use Red=Conservative.

To me this color= passion,= winning, =victory, but meh.

Ain’t media propaganda grand ?

I won’t use that blue = Democrat crap. I’m a blue Republican, and unapologetically so. I’m not a Communist Red.

The color red is better seen as the blood of all the billions of victims of international communism, from adults to the unborn. That will ALWAYS be the color of the left, notwithstanding this post-2000 media propaganda bullcrap.
