by: Heyecan Veziroglu, November 08, 2007

America’s Smallest Schools, a new study shows that there is a relationship between parental involvement and children’s school success but policy analysts are using the results as a call for increased federal funding of education. “We need a revolution in this nation,” said Marc Morial, President and CEO, National Urban League. “If we are serious about raising achievement levels, we need to focus on the starting line as much as we do with the finishing line,” Kurt Landgraf, President of the Education Testing Service said. “Poor and minority families struggle with daily needs.”

Oh, being “poor” makes you have different priorities about educating your children... right...

could it be that their screwed up priorities is a reflection of their value system that MAKES THEM POOR?

how about an “investment” in two-parent homes. delinquency is proven higher in kids coming from single-parent homes. stop being “baby-daddy” and start being a father.

My upstairs corner bedroom has a 1:1 teacher to child ratio. Works for us. Of course, I should be demanding a few thousand dollars per year from the community for doing this...

Time for the churches, en masse, to open schools...for those parents who can't clear the way to homeschool

They are tailor made: classrooms, kitchens, bathrooms, 'auditorium' = and local neighborhood...

It is the ONLY was to save our children and our country.

For every child taken out of the government indoctrination camps, said system will loose about $7,000. Money, not children's education, is their bottom line. The only way to defeat the Socialist indoctrinators is not to spend our time and money fighting them head on, but take our time and money to provide the alternative schools and thereby, defeat them by default.

Parents, contact your local Home School organizations and get the many books that outline how much easier and economically feasible it is to home school. And EVERYONE start a 'Church School' campaign in your church.

We CAN defeat them.

We CAN save our children and grandchildren, and ourselves by default.

Here's your motto!

We can become the Children's Militia that leads the Revolution to real education and to Freedom. Just imagine our kids knowing what the Constitution says = and MEANS...
