Over the course of his political career, Bill Clinton was literally and figuratively embraced by countless pastors, most of whom presumably went to their pulpits on Sunday to preach traditional values, including marital fidelity. If memory serves, neither Gail Collins nor other liberal pundits noted any irony in people of the cloth endorsing the spectacularly straying Clinton.
But let a preacher praise a Republican with a personal history, and Gail Collins thunders like Billy Sunday with a bad migraine. Here's the opening paragraph of her "Pat Loves Rudy" in today's New York Times [emphasis added]:
"Back in mid-2001, when Mayor Rudy Giuliani was busy committing adultery, lurching into his divorce and third marriage and rooming with a gay couple he promised to marry as soon as the law allowed, who among us would have imagined that one day he would be endorsed for president by Pat Robertson?"

Did you take the multiple choice test I posted a few posts back?
Are you CAPABLE of finding the right answer?
“Rudy’s nominated = 3rd party”
Hillary thanks you.
Here it is again:
What is the subject of the posted article?
a) Rudy is good.
b) Rudy is great.
c) Rudy is the man.
d) Liberals have suddenly found adultery to be bad.
e) none of the above
f) all of the above
(begin newsmedia speak)
Adultery is a religions concept and has nothing to do with the race. Giuliani was just cheating on her by having sex with another woman religion had nothing to do with it.
Giuliani has bi-partisan support of hard right christian evangelicals who do not see Giuliani’s sex life as adultery. Pat Robertson even supports Giuliani’s abortion stance now and has seen the enlightement to support abortion. The christian movement only see Rudy’s 9/11 (did you know hillary clinton was senator on 9/11) work as mayor of new York. Did you know Giuliani was mayor of NY on 9/11.
In short Giuliani’s cheating on his wife was not adultery.

Border Security and Immigration Efforts Successful in FY 2007
Now, the limited fence that is up, plus the increase in BP officers, more video observation and actually funneling the illegals into areas that are further from population centers and easier to monitor, is working.
Why is it taking so long you ask?
Just let me know if it’s too tough for you. I can dumb it down.
Wow! What a convincing argument!
Good thing raving, ad hominem spewing, frothing at the mouth lunatics only post at Kos and DU...
Good use of html. But do you think you can guess the answer to my multiple choice question?
Rots a ruck. I'm no Rudy fan but the paranoia could create a backlash. It's Rudy vs. Rabies.
Wouldn’t you rather that be a state issue vis a vis a federal issue?
See this...?: Report Abuse. Knickers in a twist? Voices in your head steadily growing louder and angrier? Morose and depressed over the fact that your trolling skills (evidently) simply aren't up to snuff any longer?
Hit it, timmy.
Otherwise: *yaaawwwwwwwwnnnnnnnnnnn*.
It's Rudy vs. Rabies. The irritating thing is that I have never posted a pro-Rooty thing in my life. I've already sent money to FT and I'll send more, and I'll vote for him primary time in my state.
But around here, you don't have to support Rooty to be pilloried by the paranoids. All you have to do is not be willing to join their paranoid chorus. You're instantly the enemy.
Speaking of slick willie’s skirt chasing who is his latest victim? Strange the MSM is silent on the issue.
You’re falling into gibberish. What about my question. Can you answer it?
A Hellary in the WH would make the Carter Administration look like a pinic in the park
I'm not voting for Rudy in the primaries ... but should he win ... I have no problem voting for him in the general
The MSM is sitting on a lotta things. Unfortunately for them there's the internet :)
You would think that a rat rooting swine like this would not want to go there.
Ah. Then you're obviously just the Giuliani apologist who (evidently) can explain, succinctly, just how PRECISELY said candidate's oft-repeated and emphatic defense of "sanctuary cities" does (somehow) translate into "keeping us safer from terrorism."
