GREAT NEWS IN INDIANA!!!!
Bart Peterson was being groomed to be Governor someday. Indianapolis appeared to be trending to the Democrats. It looks like they peaked and are in decline now.

I live in Indy - I LOVE it! Finally that incompetent swine is out of office. Like Ballard said - no more 200 million dollar libraries that no one wants - no more feel good spending on greenways - and best of all, the worst of the worst - Monroe Gray isn’t council pres anymore. Can’t lock people out of the city council meetings now you sub human power monger! Whoo hoo!

Wow... This IS big. Anybody who thought the GOP was due for a butt-whipping is seriously out of touch.

If the Dems had won, this was a “bellweather election”. If the Repubs won, it’s an aberration.

It’s because the Colts lost to the Patriots...... Indy voters realize they prefer Tom Brady (R) to Peyton Manning (D).
[just kidding, Colts fans!!]

Interesting. We keep hearing about red areas turning blue. I was wondering if there were any blue areas turning red as well...

Congratulations, Indy!
The only thing I can figure is that Peterson was such a shoe in that the Dems didn't crank out the fraud machine in time.

Bart “Big Tax Rat” Peterson, defeated along with his city council.
Big grass roots effort here. Greg Ballard didn’t have much in the way of funds.
A lesson learned for the national elections.

I doubt that anything short of whale oil and a crowbar will remove Julia Carson from her district.
One thing that's nice about this is that the Indpls Star backed Peterson with all sorts of bluster about leading Indy into the future, conveniently leaving out the disasterous property tax fiasco. Anything that makes the liberal rag, The Star, look bad is OK by me.
