LOS ANGELES — A pregnant woman was killed and two others injured after a brawl broke out involving as many as 30 young women, authorities said. The fight began about 2:30 p.m. Monday in South Los Angeles. Police said one of the women jumped into her car and struck the three victims. The woman killed was eight months pregnant and another victim was in critical condition and expected to lose her leg, authorities said. None of the victims' identities were released. Unique Bishop, 21, fled but turned herself into authorities and was booked for investigation of murder, police said. She is being held on $1 million bail.

This thread has got to be one of the more disgusting displays of callous ignorance and outright bigotry I think I've ever had the displeasure to witness on this website, and I didn't just show up here yesterday.
IMO, it’s an ugly response from a certain internet element when they think they have a bye to make inappropriately ugly comments. Looks like FR could get another mention on Bill O’Reilly for a circular shootout...again.

Being called a bigot no longer scares me. We as a country have got to quit playing Pretend when it comes to racial issues. Honest people of all races are going to have to face up to and deal with the cultural differences between racial groups as they actually exist if Americans are ever going to live together in peace.
If you choose to continue to live in a fantasy world where cultural differences do not matter, that's your business, but don't force the rest of us to play along.

I watched local news last night, KNBC4. Ted Chen reported the victim was 5 months pregnant, and studying to be a probation (or parole?) officer at Cal State Northridge.
No, it’s not really amazing or relevant to the story. Neither is “bigotry.”
The truth is that life “in the ghetto” has not changed much.
We must learn to respect and appreciate cultural rituals such as this which are a reward of diversity and present opportunies to expand our minds and broaden our horizons.
