BOSTON -- A Boston attorney once considered by ABC television to star in “The Bachelor” is, according to prosecutors, a serial rapist.
Gary Zerola is charged with the rape and attempted rape of two 19-year-old women in 2004 and 2006. He is also facing charges in Florida that he drugged and then raped an 18-year-old college student he met in a Miami Beach club.
Prosecutor Suzanne Kontz said in court Monday that Zerola took one victim he’d met at a Boston bar to Neiman Marcus and bought her a $700 dress and $250 shoes. She then alleged that he took the woman back to his apartment and slammed her head against a door and knocked a phone from her hand as she tried to dial 911.

That one may have been a simple misuderstanding as to the terms of the business relationship. An attorney should have had enough sense to draft out the terms in detail, and warned her to consult with independent legal counsel before execution of the contract.
Of course, his best defense would be to marry into the Kennedy extended family.
Why not. We had a serial rapist starring in the Oval Office.
One problem with his attorney’s claims: Several women have come out against him.

If I was one of those girls relatives that guy would be shopping for a new face.
Only a matter of time before one of these clowns actually makes it onto a reality show. It could have happened here.

They also had to find women for the show who didn’t have herpes. They had a hard time.
Tehnically, the recipient of the $700 dress and $250 is an ignorant woman. Who, in their right mind, would spend that much money on a person right after meeting them at a bar without nothing in return?!? Please!
Same thing with the Indiana woman who accused Mike Tyson of rape a few decades ago... shortly after meeting him, she went with him in the wee hours of the morning to his hotel penthouse suite... what did she think was going to happen? This is Iron Mike, whose reputation was well-documented back then. Did she think he was going to recite verses from “The Iliad” and sip on mimosas?
Yuck, he’s ugly, and he was once considered for The Bachelor? Yikes.
When you add in the bar tab, it probably worked out to about $1000 in consideration that he was paying for her ‘companionship’.
