Lying with Impunity: Planned Parenthood's Secret Abortion Clinic
Breakpoint with Chuck Colson ^ | 11/5/2007 | Mark Earley

Posted on 11/05/2007 9:00:28 PM PST by Mr. Silverback

Note: This commentary was delivered by PFM President Mark Earley.

In Aurora, Illinois, a Christian construction worker was working on a new 22,000 square-foot office building. But the owner, Gemini Office Development, wanted some unusual features. Why, the construction worker wondered, would the owners want bullet-proof windows and multiple surgical rooms?

It turned out Gemini Office Development was in reality a front group for Planned Parenthood, which planned to open a super-sized abortion clinic. It’s an example of just how devious Planned Parenthood is—and of how the abortion industry is running scared.

When Planned Parenthood’s front group went to the city for permission to build, it claimed that a tenant had not yet been chosen for what it termed an “office building.”

When Aurora residents learned what was actually being built, many of them objected. Many, angered at the deceit perpetrated upon the city, asked Aurora city officials to deny a permit for permanent occupancy.

In response, Planned Parenthood claimed it had no choice but to lie: After all, if citizens knew an abortion clinic was being built, they might, well, protest. Well, of course they would!

Aurora hired attorneys to determine whether Planned Parenthood’s deceit created a fatal flaw in the approvals the abortion facility got from the city. Thousands of pro-life citizens launched 40 days of prayer and protest in front of the clinic.

In the end, the city allowed the abortion clinic to open. But the battle over this mega-clinic reveals an important truth. Planned Parenthood claims that abortion is accepted by American society—that it is only a few religious cranks who object to it. But if that’s true, why all the secrecy?

The reality is that support for abortion-on-demand is dropping like a rock. Too many people now know the truth about abortion—that it takes the life of a healthy human baby.

Planned Parenthood is also demonizing pro-life citizens by suggesting that there is something wrong with objecting or protesting. There isn’t. Protest is an important part of American life. In fact, our country was founded on it.

Citizens have not only a right but a duty to object when they see businesses moving into their towns that might cause harm to their fellow citizens. Imagine the outcry if, say, Wal-Mart were caught trying to sneak a new store into town—and they claimed they had to lie about what they were building because they did not want to deal with objections or protesters.

Through the prophet Isaiah, God paints a beautiful picture of what a community that seeks righteousness will look like: “My people,” God says, “will live in peaceful dwelling places, in secure homes, in undisturbed places of rest.”

How can a community be at peace—enjoy shalom—while babies are being put to death down the street?

Albert Schweitzer in his book Reverence for Life said that we can either make history or suffer history. It all depends on whether or not we have a reverence for human life.

So three cheers to the citizens of Aurora who fought the secret abortion clinic—who took a stand for the reverence for human life. They are being the best of citizens. Maybe their actions will allow us to make history, rather than suffer history.

You expect eugenicists to be open about what they’re doing?

Short answer: Of course not.

Long answer: I've been a pro-lifer since high school and I can't recall them ever trying to sneak a clinic into a town before. I think Earley is absolutely dead on here that they know they're losing and that they can talk all they want about "the majority" being pro-abortion but it's not going to change the pressure they're under everywhere they spread their slime and death.

No property right should be able to cover up any fraud in acquiring permits, and I’d say that if they had been putting in a cheese factory instead of a baby-killing site.

I would think that their contract was voided by lying on the application form. They admit they lied to prevent protesters from knowing their true intent

"I bet the feng shui of this bunker/medical dungeon sucks."

True, but not as much as the vacuum aspiration machines of death. Especially if you are an unborn baby sitting in the waiting room with your "mother".

Fr. Frank Pavone Priests for Life touring one of three former abortion rooms at the NATIONAL AMERICAN HOLOCAUST MEMORIAL in Baton Rouge, LA. It was open from 1986 – 1994. 30,000 children were aborted there. This was not the only abortion mill in the city. The “doctor” had this building built special to maximize his time and PROFITS.

Notice the kitchen sink with the garbage disposal. There were three ways for the “doctor” to dispose of the babies, an expensive biomedical incinerator, expensive biomedical waste pick-up (charge by pound) or a rather inexpensive garbage disposal. Every day God’s precious children were ground up in that disposal and flushed into the city’s sewer system. Thing is this doctor of death did late term abortions, so an assisting demon had to literally cut up the bigger kids to feed down the disposal.

I have given tours of the place a few times. It is like walking in a nightmare. The suction machine in one room is still plugged in and it works when you turn it on for the visitors to see and hear. This place is much like an abandoned Nazi death camp. It’s the only Memorial like it in the country. It’s a testament to America’s (and humanity's) darkest potential.

Some time after the mill was closed down, the doctor of death aborted himself with a bullet through the head.

With Christmas close at hand, God gave this to me recently. Use it as needed.

Without Jesus?

What if Jesus was taken from Mary
Before he had a name
What if He had been rejected
Before His birthday ever came

This world would be in turmoil
Sin and idols everywhere
We would all be living for ourselves
No one else to care

No one there to die for us
No one to show us love
If God had not sent His Son
Down from Heav’n above

What if Jesus had not walked for us
To show us The Way
This world would be an even angrier place
Far worse than it is today

The Laws would be much harsher
Weighted down by stringent rules
Those wanting love and freedom
Would be jailed and thought as fools

But Jesus was there for us
To give His life for sin
And as we accept Him
Our lives begin again

Jesus loves the little children
Before we give them names
If our mothers had rejected us
Would this world be the same?

We must love the little children
Before they have a voice
And wait for an answer from them
Before we make a choice

This Christmas I give thanks
Jesus was born from up above
That Mary gave Him a voice
For her heart new only love

That Joseph bore the burden
That could have meant shame
That they cared for little Jesus
So the world would know His name

Those pictures make me sick. I usally don't celebrate when someone commits suicide, but in this Doctor's case, it was well deserved.

I wonder how he was able to explain his actions to God Almighty as he stood in judgement?

Three words: We are winning.

Over the long term, a movement dedicated to killing its proponents' children can't prosper.

It doesn't take any sophisticated theology or logic to know that. If necessary, you can get it straight from Mr. Secularist himself, Charles Darwin. The pro-aborts unnaturally select themselves out of existence.

History tends to repeat! Currently there is an identical effort, on part of ‘Planned Barrenhood’, to construct the nation’s largest abortuary in the Stapleton neighborhood (a predominantly minority-occupied area—see Margaret Sanger’s works if you wonder why) East of Denver. The estimated cost of the project is somewhere between 4 and 6 million dollars. I’d urge all readers to support the pro-life efforts of keeppeaceinstapleton.com and coloradorighttolife.org. We need the help of all Americans who love life and honor Almighty God to defeat this effort. Already the contractor, Weitz Construction Co., Inc., has been confronted by pro-life groups and asked to cease and desist on moral grounds. So far Weitz has defied efforts to halt the project. In addition it was discovered that Weitz lied to one of its subcontractors, Haynes Mechanical Systems, telling them that the project wasn’t affiliated with P.P., but United Airlines (UA named as the applicant on the Building permit—try to figure out THAT one!) Child-killers are not only murderers, but lying dogs. See John 8:44 if you’re looking for P.P.’s ‘daddy’! God bless! Please check out the sites I’ve referenced and lend your moral support, at least. Thanks! Chris

In a city near where I live abortions went down at a Planned Parenthood, after pro-lifers demonstrated once a week, and said the rosary.

No wonder they want it kept secret.
