A Jersey Girl would put the MAN in the hospital if he tried to beat her. (at least all the ones I know would.)

Not just Jersey girls. My rule is: you ever lay a hand on me, you’d better knock me unconscious with the first blow, and you’d better be gone when I wake up, or I will pick up the biggest thing I can find and beat you to death with it.
I had a man once raise his hand to strike me...I told him if he didn’t put that hand down, I’d kill him. He lowered that hand right away. It’s funny when I think about my audacity now — he was much bigger than I — something like over 6 feet and a good 270 or 280. He could have killed me instead. But I was young and thought I could take on the world. I wouldn’t take any karp from him and I won’t from any man. Of course, that was the end of the relationship.
And this was a guy my mother absolutely loved. She couldn’t understand why I broke up with him. Never told her or my father — my Dad (all 5’4” and 130 pounds soaking wet) would have killed him just for thinking about striking me.
I sense a prime choice in three quarter inch rebar...
At least, most of the Jersey women I know would choose rebar.
(One, though, said she’d choose “Burnout”. Seems she would leave tire marks on personal parts... Ouch.)
