an attempt by other Democrats who probably rightly see Hillary Clinton's presidential nomination as a disaster waiting to happen and are trying to derail the Clinton Express.

Possible, and if it is derailed, Gore may 'reluctantly' agree to run again.

Besides, we have our own problems with sex scandals, like Larry Craig and Rudy Giuliani.

Look, the "sex scandal" aspect would be fun to speculate about, if, say, this girl grew up in Idaho, and she had a last name like "Smith", or "Jones".

But, as things stand, it's not the "sex scandal" we need to be speculating about: We need to be worrying about the threat that this girl poses to our national security if Hillary becomes president.

Not sure if any of this speculation would pan out, but I found the earlier story in the NY Observer very interesting.

Someone should certainly do a little research on her.

I also wondered how she could wear fresh designer clothing every day. Most of those outfits cost thousands. So, are we talking about someone who can mysteriously buy maybe half a million or a million dollars worth of clothing every year?

I agree that the Chinese connection is more important, but I’m curious about a Muslim, with Saudi connections and upbringing, who is this close to hillary, and evidently trusted by her.

Geesh, I wish you hadn’t pointed that out. Now, I’ll probably have to skip supper, go to bed, and try to sleep off that image!

"Please tell me that's a man driving."

I would have to lie to do that.

"And look where the passenger's left hand is..."

Kind of erotic, huh!? ;-)

Folks, this is a Clintonian trap. The main sources are liberals. Here's how it will play out: The Clintonistas have liberals drop some salacious rumors. It percolates for a while in the blogosphere. Then it creeps into right-wing talk radio. Then a few MSM types finally talk about it. Once everyone on the right and a few in the center are screaming for answers...

Then they sue us - take away our right to offer opinions on the net - while shaking down the outraged folks in the "Kingdom".

Take us down and get cash from the Saudis - sounds like a clinton twofer. Who knows, maybe the Clintons will shoot Tim Russert... (check an earlier thread)

The issue of Saudi and other Arab infiltration and influence is a legitimate one, of course, but it is a double edged sword. The Democrats have complained for years about Saudi and Emirates influence with the present Administration, and the Dubai ports deal was a major controversy last year. Leftist Web sites frequently post pictures of President Bush kissing a Saudi prince several years ago. Whether the GOP Presidential nominee is Giuliani, Thompson, Romney, or someone else, to some degree he will have to deal with the Bush legacy and defend its better parts. One bit of leverage Hillary’s alleged relationship has is to deflect Democrat attacks on undue Saudi and Emirate influence on the GOP.

The Huma, also known as the "bird of paradise," is a Persian mythological bird, similar to the Egyptian phoenix, which consumes itself in fire every few hundred years, only to rise anew from the ashes. It is considered to be a compassionate bird. The touch of the huma bird is said to bring great fortune.

The huma joins both the male and female natures together in one body, each sharing a wing and a leg. It avoids killing for food, rather preferring to feed on carrion. The Persians teach that great blessings come to that person on whom the huma's shadow falls.

According to Sufi master Inayat Khan, "The word huma in the Persian language stands for a fabulous bird. There is a belief that if the huma bird sits for a moment on someone's head it is a sign that he will become a king. Its true meaning is that when a person's thoughts so evolve that they break all limitation, then he becomes as a king. It is the limitation of language that it can only describe the Most High as something like a king."

Interesting, Perhaps Hill is invoking some new age mysticism...

Huma the almost human, an agent of Saudi Arabia? Huh. Maybe someplace much farther south!
By the way, if she is Saudi, why isn’t she all covered up? Don’t they have to cover up and not go anywhere without a male relative? Or is that just for people who aren’t used by Hillary Clinton?

Furthermore, her father was born in India, and her mother was born in Pakistan, and they emigrated to Kalamazoo, Michigan. But then, circa 1977, by some miracle of happenstance, they turned on a dime, and decided to up and leave, for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and never come back.

Hmmm.... let's see. Mid-to-late 1970's. Saudi's are flush with their new-found petroleum wealth, and are beginning to flex their muscles. What kind of people would they go looking for to spend all of those newly acquired petro-dollars on?

And why would someone chose to abandon a free nation, like the USA, in favor of a closed society, like the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia?

And why would they move halfway across the world, to that closed society, in order to pursue a career in a profession [university teaching] with a notoriously shaky financial underpinning, unless they had been promised financial security by their new employers?

Or was the whole thing a ruse? Did they only come here to get birth-right citizenship for Huma?

Interesting indeed.

God forbid, if Hillary is elected President, then can we assume we'll have a "first lady" after all?

As long as you are digging, why not see if you can come up with the Client List of Chelsea's Hedge Fund manager and see if Huma is one of their clients?
