The University of Delaware is defending its program that includes the teaching "all whites are racist" and offers "treatment" for any incorrect attitudes regarding class, gender, religion, culture or sexuality,
WND reported yesterday on concerns raised by The Foundation for Individual Rights in Education, which wrote to university President Patrick Harker citing documents from the schools' Office of Residence Life Diversity Education Training program.
"Somehow, the University of Delaware seems terrifyingly unaware that a state-sponsored institution of higher education in the United States does not have the legal right to engage in a program of systematic thought reform," the letter from FIRE's director of legal and public advocacy, Samantha Harris, said. "The First Amendment protects the right to freedom of conscience – the right to keep our innermost thoughts free from governmental intrusion. It also protects the right to be free from compelled speech."

Who but an ELITIST SECULAR SOCIALIST would think that they have the right to "correct" someone else's attitudes? No, conservative fundamentalists do not - don't even go there. Leftists use authority in order to force their "correct attitudes" on everyone else.

“A RACIST: A racist is one who is both privileged and socialized on the basis of race by a white supremacist (racist) system. ‘The term applies to all white people (i.e., people of European descent) living in the United States, regardless of class, gender, religion, culture or sexuality. By this definition, people of color cannot be racists, because as peoples within the U.S. system, they do not have the power to back up their prejudices, hostilities, or acts of discrimination….”
Is anyone surprised by this. The liberal white elitists have been telling blacks this for years. Most (not all) blacks believe this now, because it is convienient to claim victimhood vs. responsibility.

I’m wondering what would happen if a University announced that black students were required to undergo cultural rehabilitation so their graduation success rates would improve.
If it could end with just thinking they have a right it might be challenged but these folk believe they have a duty.
The good folks at the University of Delaware are dumber than I thought. They need not make sweeping generalizations such as "all whites are racist" (easy to disprove by showing at least one white who is not racist) but could have gotten away with "some whites are racist" or "many whites are racist" (harder to disprove).
Either way, they need a good solid round of sensitivity training for their hate speech (unfounded stereotypes) against whites. And...they need to wash their mouths out with soap.

Don’t send you kids to these communist higher re-education camps. Funding is the only thing these communist elites understand. When enrollment falls to three students they might get the message.
U of Del should be immediately stripped of all federal funds for promoting racism.
Evidence was his race baiting performance at the PBS debate about a month ago. Huckabee and Brownback kept saying that “racism is still alive in America” implying that whites are racist - pandering to the black audience and black panelists. Only Tancredo and Hunter had the guts to say they would not create policies based on race - that all Americans were the same and that in their WH they would do whats best for all Americans.
Huckabee is a sham like Bush.
Unbelievable. And completely false. The white media elites crucified Reggie White for saying things about other races that were un-PC. But I think they really went after him over the disapproval of homosexuality.
