Republican presidential candidate who led a Senate inquiry into illegal foreign fund raising in the 1996 presidential campaign, Fred Thompson of Tennessee, is warning that the phenomenon may be repeating itself with Senator Clinton's current White House bid.
"From what I read in the papers, it looks to me like some of the same familiar refrains are playing when I look at Senator Clinton's situation," Mr. Thompson told reporters yesterday during his first campaign swing through California. "I'm not going to jump to any conclusions or make any accusations until all the facts are in, but when I see people who are in the newspapers bundling large sums of money from mysterious sources, I must say it brings back some very unfond memories for me when I was chairman of the Governmental Affairs Committee and we investigated those matters in the '90s with regard to President Clinton."
Dishwashers, waiters, and other low-income workers in New York's Chinatown recorded as donating tens of thousands of dollars to Mrs. Clinton's presidential campaign this year could not be located by journalists or lacked the immigration status needed to donate legally, according to a recent report in the Los Angeles Times.
In 1996, the Democratic National Committee raised millions of dollars from immigrant communities. Some money was later traced to sources abroad, mostly China and Indonesia. More than two dozen people were prosecuted. Others fled the country.
Spokesmen for Mrs. Clinton's campaign did not respond to a request for comment for this article but have said previously that donors are vetted and suspect donations returned.(continued)

Not that I am getting complacent, but I think she may well have already lost the Dem coronation.
After a few more unscripted debacles like as what occurred in that softball debate (and other gross errors recently), she might become completely unhinged and have a meltdown on stage.
I mean there is this issue of the illegal funding percolating, she chose Sandy Burglar as an advisor, her vote for the motion to censure Rush Limbaugh, the policy lead-balloons she has floated.
I think her aura of inevitably has vanished and the cracks are beginning to spread.

Now the question is WHY?Because she can. Same reason gave for his affair with Monica. He did it because he could.

No wonder Senator Clinton is in favour of granting driver's licenses to illegal immigrants in New York, or is she?
The illegal immigrants should all ask for refunds from the Clintons. It's probably more than they make in a month!

Everyone realizes that if this were a Republican nominee that the major media would be smearing this daily, that an investigation would already be under way in the House & Senate, and that Clinton would be receiving calls from her party for her to step down.
It is a fact that the media actively opposes conservatism.

I'm glad to see Fred talking about this. This isn't the first time his campaign has brought it up, though. Rich Galen
had some strong words for Hillary in early September.

After a few more unscripted debacles like as what occurred in that softball debate (and other gross errors recently), she might become completely unhinged and have a meltdown on stage.Fox News showed a clip last night of the debate--Tim Russert was visibly irritated when he waved that piece of paper under her nose and asked her about the "ban." She didn't like it. I'm praying for his life, he embarassed The Queen.
Then by way of defense, she shows a clip of how all these men are ganging up on her...what a joke, she and her husband have been bullying the Democrat party for years and even they are getting sick of it.

As an author of a recent book on Senator Clinton has pointed out, every major scandal in the Clinton Administration in Washington had a direct precedent in the Clinton Administration in Little Rock.
Normally I would say the old quote about those who fail to learn from history is trite and clicheed, but in this case...
