Bombing Iran, says Chuck Schumer, would be a big political loser for Republican candidates in 2008.
It would change the landscape against them, big time, Mr. Schumer, the chairman of the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee, said about a scenario in which the Bush administration launches a military attack on Iran before leaving office. I dont think they are likely to do it, because they are so weaknot because they are chastenedbut I also think it is very likely to be a negative political for them.
Despite all the Bush administrations saber rattling, the 56-year-old Brooklyn native believes the presidents political footing is too weak to build the case for another war, especially when the public is far more skeptical of that the second time around......."

what was I thinkin’’’’’apologies to all maggots
Nope Chuckie, only a long, drawn-out, nation-building effort with lots of U.S. casualties would do that. But fortuntely that isn't in the cards for Iran. It'll be quick and successuful, and if anything will help the GOP immensely.
But then again you already know that.
I’m for leaving Iran to Hil..wonder what she would do looking down the barrel of a nuke attack on Israel? Call Chucky for advice?
Chuckie’s point is that he’s more than willing to roll the dice with American security on the line. And his party agrees with him. He’s wrong about Bush though. W will do the right thing regardless of the political cost to him.
Hil won’t get that chance...............too deadly a consequence......
Well then, this brings up a simple question doesn’t it — Why would you warn your adversary of impending destruction? Wouldn’t you just keep quite and watch?
Of course, if Iran had a nuclear bomb, they would likely try and use it on Israel or maybe in New York City. I wonder why he isn’t concerned about that? Jews live in both places last time I checked.
He needs a manzeer. What a p.....sissy
i heard that...
Any THINKING person will see that Chuck Schumer, schmuck extraordinaire, treats the nation's security as a political issue and not as a reason to be vigilante against our enemies.
Seeing such important things primarily through political eyes is the hallmark of a hack. And Schumer certainly is a hack.
What is that, a B-cup? Get a bra, Chuck.
Okay, Chuckie, what’s your solution? Let the Israelis do it?
Chuckie is aware of the real ramifications, and the last thing that he wants to see is a republican President kicking ass and putting the Iranian chumps away once and for all.
Something that democrats simply do not have the will, or the sac to even attempt.
Did he come out of the closet????
I don’t know. Most likely scenario would be US strikes against the military or nuclear installations, avoiding civilians as much as possible. Iran responds by hitting US military/diplomatic targets in Iraq. US responds by destroying Iranian missile capability and continues to degrade infrastructure. Political pressure in US after 5 days would be intense. Then the Iranian/muslim collaborator or agent hits a soft civilian target in the USA. History starts new and quislings protest at their own personal risk.
And no Iran war would destroy Israel. If we do not get them, they will get us (and others) first.
Wishful thinking by Sniveling Schuster the Craven Shyster.
Looks like Chuck’s estrogen is a little high.
One of the things I’ve learned participating in forums on the internet that have Muslim participation is that Chuck Schumer and his ilk are inadvertantly functioning as useful idiots for the USA Defense Department.
Muslims really seem to take heart and believe these fools. This has resulted so far in thousands of more enemy deaths than otherwise would have occurred as Muslim leaders constantly misjudge the USA’s intentions and resolve. This can be attributed in part to our political leaders who are against President Bush. Thanks, all you peaceniks!
Freedom of Speech is a wonderful thing. It completely confuses those who do not have it.
