Still, no. Sorry. I really question the quality of instruction of anyone who would give a blackbelt to a seven year old.

OK ... I see where you're coming from, with that. Makes sense.
On the other claw, there's much to be said for teaching kids to shooting, archery, hand-to-hand fighting, whatever, when they're young. They grow up with it, when they're adults they don't forget.

Dads - this is all on YOU. I heard a great idea on Christian radio.
You should take your daughter out on dates - just the two of you. Show her how a gentleman treats a young lady. For example, open doors (car doors even), etc. Teach her to simply wait for the man to open the doors for her by failing to do so once in a while and telling her how to respond.
You also have to teach about messages that go out (from her method of interaction, dress, etc), and messages that come in (who she is friends with, what she listens to, etc).
Ah ha! you are correct. I am thrilled to say that my 9 year old daughter and I have a date in november for the father/daughter dance at my kids' school. The purpose is to teach our young women exactly how they should demand to be treated.

What about a teenaged daughter? Got one yet? Would it be ok for her?

Are high school girls really that stupid?
As a father of a high school girl, I can say that the answer to your question is Yes!.
I see it all the time and just can't fathom what the hell some parents think these days.

Homeschoolers in our area have the opportunity to learn ballroom dancing and many take advantage of it. Young men and young ladies alike are LOVING it.
Last year, they gave an impromptu exhibition at the National Fair in Perry, GA and it was lovely.
I wouldn’t put my kids in publik government kiddie prisons for ANYTHING.

Unfortunately, this week on Dancing with the Stars, Edyta was, briefly, grinding on that Cameron guy’s crotch.

Oh girls, girls,
Silly little valuable things,
You should have said,
No, I am valuable,
And again,
It is because I am valuable
I say, No.

I’d think public genital rubbing pretty much defines a skank.

You are getting slammed, aren’t you? Most of these girls aren’t “loose” IMO. The thing is that sometimes when we are kids we try to push limits and do things we shouldn’t. It used to be parents were old fashioned. I was not allowed to wear “hot pants”. My mother was such a prude. The first thing I did after getting married was buy an itsy bitsy bikini. I look at pictures now and think “what was I thinking?” I have all boys but I would have a fit if I caught my granddaughters in public something like I was wearing. I’ve become my mother, which is the way it should be. Someone needs to be the heavy. Nowadays , parents (mostly moms I think) want to be rebellious thru their girls it seems.

Really, I believe that a lot of the girls don’t know how to dance. I don’t, but that doesn’t mean they should be rubbing their bottoms up against a guys genitals. Sometimes two girls will do it, and judging by the acceptance of homosexuality, two guys probably do it too. (barf) However, it’s not entirely the kids’ fault. Their parents are ok with them dressing sleazy and dancing that way, the school is telling the kids it’s ok to sleep around (even providing the birth control), and the music and media pushes sex at every turn. Girls don’t realize that it is turning them into sexual objects. That’s what these guys see them as. I would love to see a change in our culture, a return to modesty and decency.

It’s not that I did it that makes it ok, it’s that there will always be forms of dancing that older society disapproves of.
As long as at the end of the night she isn’t in the back seat of somebody’s car, any daughter I have can dance basically how she wants. No nakedness and no sex afterwards.

Theres nothing wrong with grinding. I did it, and not every girl that did it was some sort of skank.
I wonder what Mrs. SoldierMedic would think if you told her that you did that with all the girls.
