Can I get a second?
and I’ll second that!
I agree. I was in the navy, and I was near Baghdad for six months. I think that every American supports our mission in Iraq or supports the terrorists. Last weekend, I heard a pastor (United Church of Christ) pray for peace. I don’t want to hear anyone pray for peace unless they pray for American victory.
Next time these clowns show up with their sIgns we should carry our own. They should read:
SUPPORT RADICAL ISLAM - STOP THE WAR
This is what opens the door for gross misrepresentations of the left concerning soldier sentiment on Iraq. Since they can find five soldiers willing to donate to Obama or Paul, who oppose the war, and all who know why they are in Iraq and what they are doing for the security of this nation remain largely silent, Code Paul and Code Pink types create the impression that the soldiers want to quit.
I talk to soldiers in Iraq every day and I have yet to talk to the first one that wants to quit before the job is done.
How sad that another generation of soldiers have to fight both the enemy and the Americans they provide for...
How sad and in many ways, ill.
Thanks for your service!
I can’t remember, were there signs reading “support the troops - leave Hitler alone” ???
If the Libs would just shut up, we could end the war a heck of a lot sooner.
The Liberal media is largely comprised of people who are so dumb that they cannot even begin to address that particular fact. The others (who can address that) are in league with the jihadists apparently.
Meanwhile the mindless sheep who actually give credence to the so called journalists (especially Network News types) have totally surrendered their free will and are actually an embarrassment to everything that this nation was founded upon.
At least when rational people go into that good night, we are cognizant of the fact that there actually is something better to look forward to.
Yeah, but you’re talking about VICTORY and they can’t allow that! No matter how long it takes, they MUST create failure in Iraq.
While I was near Baghdad, in the Triangle of Death, for six months, I rarely heard my co-workers complain about the American presence in Iraq. Since I returned to the U.S., I’ve heard many Americans, who have never served in the military, complain about our presence in Iraq.
When the looney left began their anti-military crusade back in ‘02-’03 we held over 250 nationwide rallies around the country to retake the high ground in the propaganda war. We were effectively able to brand them as anti-troop, ant-military. They immediately regrouped by hiring a Madison Ave marketing firm. They, for the most part, were able to shelve the anti-military rhetoric and reshaped their message around this theme.
What did we do? Nothing. To this day we continue to galvanize around the “Support the Troops” theme (as worthwhile as that is) but it not only has lost it’s effectiveness as a communication tool it is a liability by being easily trumped by the left’s new message.
IMO there are two ways to which this can be effectively countered. One is to brand them as liars, but that kind of effort requires substantial cooperation from the MSM that we just don’t have.
The second and easier option is to simply neuter their new message. If the left wants to equate troop support with bringing them home, we take it to the next step by equating bringing them home with something more unpalatable to Americans.
Withdrawing the troops = Retreat
Retreat = Surrender to terrorists
How is asking our troops to surrender supporting them?
test
In a few months they’ll be protesting at the back of the Victory Parades.
Pray for W and OUr Freedom Fighters
Thanks to John Edwards, the little boy who would be king, who started this treason:

Very well put...
