Once again, in this upcoming Election of 2008, none of the prominent Democratic candidates for President deserves our support or our votes.
We continually hear that the leadership of the Democratic Party is dominated by leftists. There are conservative Democrats and Union members who need to immediately begin to organize and speak out for conservative change in the Democrat Party.
We need to start a nationwide "Talent Search" to find suitable candidates for the Democrat nomination, and for the other offices that will be up for election in 2008.
Ummm, Unions ARE part of the left. A big part. Hence why public schools, airlines, and automotive companies have been effectively destroyed.
They also wield enough power to put major parts of the country on hold. There’s absolutely nothing conservative about that.
Union members voting for Hunter is a good reason why I won’t vote for him. The last thing this country needs is a big government unionist for President.
Confusing ain’t it. LOL
I’m sorry, where does it say I support Paul for President? That’s right, it doesn’t. Thanks for playing.
Did you feel the same way when Reagan got HUGE Union support?
Dems need a new conservative Candidate for Pres. If a prominent Dem leader was going to change I would like John G. to be the first.
The CA Conservatives have a "Favorite Son" in Rep. Duncan Hunter. CA Dems need a Fav Son candidate. You & others are saying... John G. is too far gone, he will never change.
No one has provided any names of any acceptable Dems in Congress, or across the country. I've got a few ideas I want to post. == Thanks for your post, that's the kind of info I / we need.

GG, you need to get better informed about John Garamendi.
He is a lot like LBJ. Has no respect for the military; views it as a way to get benefits
Radical union thug supporter.
Bi-lingual California supporter.

Conservative Democrats and conservative Union members need to get organized and start making some public statements!
For the California *Democrat* Presidential Primary, it looks like Tues. Dec. 4th is the last day for a Democrat to file as a candidate to be on the ballot.
Friday afternoon `Post-a-Mania’ bump
Victor Davis Hanson from Selma, California is a Democrat. He is widely known for his conservative views. Youll find all his articles posted here on FR. His syndicated columns appear in newspapers across the nation every Sunday.
Thanks for that info. I have seen his name on FR and read a couple of his articles. This is exactly the kind of info I was looking for.
Former Democratic US Senator Sam Nunn, also from Georgia, may have been much more conservative than Miller, and certainly much more conservative than Northern liberal Republican Senators. Nunn strongly opposed, and led the fight against Clinton’s “Don’t ask - Don’t tell” proposal, consistently voted for a strong military, voted for school prayer, capping punitive damage awards, an amendment requiring a balanced budget, and limiting death sentence appeals.
